The Arizona Cardinals will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, specifically regarding QB Kyler Murray.
Is Kyler Murray Playing in Week 13?
Coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that Murray (foot) is working hard to get healthy, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports. That’s what he’s doing right now, Gannon added. He’s in every meeting. He’s engaged. He’s rehabbing a boatload of time in there.
We’ll continue to monitor the Cardinals’ injury report leading up to kickoff for any changes. You can also visit and bookmark our Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.
Should You Start or Sit Murray in Week 13?
Murray is eligible to come off of IR (foot) next week, but we haven’t had much in the way of reporting on that front.
He was struggling before the injury (his peak finish is QB14), and with the Rams and Texans on the books for Weeks 14-15, it’s challenging to see a fantasy asset in Murray, even if he’s physically cleared.
If you have an IR slot that isn’t being used on a flex spot and have a fringe QB1 starting (or Jacoby Brissett), then holding Murray holds some weight. But if you have a weekly lineup lock at the QB position, there’s no need to burn a roster spot in this fashion: a full-go version of Murray doesn’t offer the ceiling we had hoped for when we drafted him back in August.
