Jaxson Dart’s status has the fantasy football world buzzing after he left last week’s game under concerning circumstances. Details about the incident remain limited, but early reports suggest something that could impact his availability moving forward. Fantasy managers are already weighing how long they can hold out before making a move.
Stay tuned, this one could shake up more than just the Giants’ quarterback room.
Jaxson Dart Injury Update
Dart sustained a concussion during the second half of the New York Giants’ loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 10. As always, his progression through the NFL’s concussion protocol will inform our decision on whether he can play on Sunday.
Dart has already been ruled out for Week 11’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which means Jameis Winston is set to make his first start of the season.
Over the years, Winston has shown that he isn’t afraid to throw the ball downfield, which bodes much better for the Giants’ pass-catching group than Wilson.

Dart Fantasy Outlook
Dart is dealing with a concussion issue for the fourth time this season, and the piling up nature of injuries makes a change of style possible.
Good for his long-term health, but not for his fantasy stock.
Dart has a rushing score in five straight games and has averaged 8+ yards per pass in three of his past four. This iteration of Dart is an asset that could threaten the top tier next season, but if they try to take some of the crazy out of this, there’s a natural risk that comes with changing how he sees the game.

All of that said, I’m going to start him until we have tangible proof that some sort of shift in style is happening. Dart isn’t going to play this weekend, but if he’s tasked with keeping up with the Lions on the fast track in Detroit next week, he’ll be flirting with top 5 status for me.
