Finding fantasy football sleepers can be a great way to give your team an edge in a matchup, especially if you’re projected to be a heavy underdog. Often, we’re forced to start unlikely players, usually due to injuries, bye weeks, or simply being in a deep league.
Determining if a spot is suitable for a sleeper involves considering the matchup and situation. How is this player being used within the offense? Have they shown flashes of brilliance on the field? Factors like these can set certain sleepers apart. With that in mind, here are our top fantasy sleepers for Week 12, all of whom are available in most leagues.
All sleepers are rostered in fewer than 25% of Yahoo leagues.
Cedric Tillman, WR, Cleveland Browns (at LV)
Cedric Tillman showed signs of life last week, catching 3 of 4 targets for 52 yards, including a 26-yard reception. This came on 69.7% route participation, second only to Jerry Jeudy.
I had missed this earlier, but it seems the returns of Isaiah Bond and Cedric Tillman brought Harold Fannin’s route participation down below 50% last week.

With Shedeur Sanders under center, we could see a bit more passing volume from the Browns. Dillon Gabriel scrambles more than Sanders.
While Sanders could struggle in his first career start, Tillman is worth a look against a Raiders defense that just got shredded by George Pickens.

We’ve seen Tillman show flashes in the past, including a three-game stretch where he put up 256 yards. Even though it’s a projected low-scoring game against the Raiders, Tillman is worth a chance as a Week 12 sleeper.
Jalen Coker, WR, Carolina Panthers (at SF)
Jalen Coker is similar to Tillman in that he’s a promising young wideout coming off a productive week. The second-year receiver caught all four of his targets for 52 yards.
Just like Tillman, Coker had a nice stretch last season, putting up 60+ yards in two of his final four games, including 110 yards against the Cowboys.
Up next is a terrific matchup against the 49ers, who have struggled defensively lately. Michael Wilson recently caught 15 of 18 targets for 185 yards against this group.
If you’re in a tight spot in a deep league, it makes sense to give Coker a chance. Those who play single-game DFS contests would be wise to include Coker for salary relief.
Isaiah Hodgins, WR, New York Giants (at DET)
Isaiah Hodgins came out of nowhere to catch 5 of 6 targets for 57 yards last week. With Darius Slayton (hamstring) still out of practice, there’s a reasonable chance he’ll miss a second consecutive week.
That means Hodgins will retain his role as a perimeter wideout for the Giants.
It’s a game where the G-Men are likely to air it out to keep pace with the Lions. There could be plenty of opportunities for garbage-time production from Hodgins in this spot. As with Coker and Tillman, this widely available wideout makes sense in larger full-PPR formats.

Bryce Young, QB, Carolina Panthers (at SF)
Bryce Young just came off his best game of the season, completing 31 of 45 passes for 448 yards and three touchdowns against a banged-up Falcons secondary.
The third-year signal-caller has a good chance at a repeat performance against a 49ers defense that has had major issues stopping opposing passing games.
We’ve seen Jacoby Brissett (452 yards) and Matthew Stafford (280 yards) pick apart this group in the last two weeks.
If you have Justin Herbert on a bye or need a quarterback streamer while navigating life without Jayden Daniels, Young makes a lot of sense.
Noah Fant, TE, Cincinnati Bengals (vs NE)
Noah Fant is coming off a game where he hauled in 5 of 6 targets for 36 yards against the Steelers. The veteran tight end is showing sneaky fantasy value, scoring a touchdown in two of his last four games.
On top of that, Ja’Marr Chase is suspended for this matchup against the Patriots, so there’s a chance that Fant will play a larger role than usual in this passing game.
It’s also worth noting that Joe Burrow has returned to practice. If Burrow plays, the Bengals’ offense is much easier to trust, even with Joe Flacco providing a boost compared to Jake Browning.
With that in mind, Fant is one of my favorite tight-end streamers this week.
