Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 11 Include Michael Wilson, Chris Rodriguez Jr., and Pat Freiermuth

Michael Wilson leads Week 11 fantasy sleepers as Marvin Harrison Jr. misses Sunday's game, while Luther Burden III sees expanded role under Ben Johnson.

Finding fantasy football sleepers can be a great way to give your team an edge in a matchup, especially if you’re projected to be a heavy underdog. Often, we’re forced to start unlikely players, usually due to injuries, bye weeks, or simply being in a deep league.

Determining if a spot is suitable for a sleeper involves considering the matchup and situation. How is this player being used within the offense? Have they shown flashes of brilliance on the field? Factors like these can set certain sleepers apart. With that in mind, here are our top fantasy sleepers for Week 11, all of whom are available in most leagues.

All sleepers are rostered in fewer than 25% of Yahoo leagues.

Michael Wilson, WR, Arizona Cardinals (vs SF)

With Marvin Harrison Jr. out for Week 11, we could see Michael Wilson get more looks for the Cardinals.

The third-year wideout has one game with 60+ yards this year, so this could be a spot where he gets there again in a projected shootout against the 49ers.

We’ve seen the 49ers’ defense struggle of late, allowing 42 and 24 points in their last two games. Don’t be surprised to see Wilson get loose downfield in this matchup. If you need to shoot for the moon on a boom-or-bust wideout, it makes some sense to ride with Wilson.

Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Washington Commanders (at MIA)

Chris Rodriguez was carrying the load for the Commanders before he got hurt last week. Reports indicate that Rodriguez is good to go for the Madrid game against the Dolphins, which puts him on the radar as a desperation FLEX.

While the Dolphins have improved in run defense lately, we’ve still seen them get gashed by James Cook and Rico Dowdle this year. Perhaps this is a spot where the Commanders try to get their running game going, as they’ve hit rock bottom with four consecutive blowout losses.

Rodriguez isn’t going to give you anything in the passing game, but he should have touchdown equity in a game that is likely to be close. Even if you don’t feel confident enough to start Rodriguez, it definitely makes sense to stash him on your bench.

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs CIN)

Pat Freiermuth is in a great matchup against a Bengals defense that has allowed the most receiving yards to tight ends this season.

When the Steelers faced the Bengals earlier this year, Freiermuth went off for five catches, 111 yards, and two touchdowns. The Steelers have one of the highest implied totals on the slate, so there’s a chance that Freiermuth can go off once again. There’s also a chance that it’s Jonnu Smith instead of Freiermuth, as we all know how the Steelers like to use multiple tight ends.

Luther Burden III, WR, Chicago Bears (at MIN)

Luther Burden III has shown flashes of brilliance in limited action, putting up 50+ yards in three games, including 101 against the Cowboys. With DJ Moore having a disappointing season, it’s only a matter of time before Ben Johnson starts to get Burden more involved in the offense.

This is more of a stash than a guy you can fire up in your lineup, but I have to include Burden here because the talent is evident when you watch him on film. There’s legitimate upside here, especially in the playoff run, so make sure that Burden isn’t on your waiver wire.

Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals (vs SF)

Jacoby Brissett is not only unlocking Trey McBride and supplanting Kyler Murray as a starter, but he’s also showing a ton of fantasy value.

The veteran quarterback has put up 21.7, 19.8, 24.8, and 19.4 fantasy points this season. It’s time to start viewing Brissett as a viable streamer, especially against an overrated 49ers defense that just got tormented by the 49ers.

If you’re in a tight spot, it makes sense to build a mini-Cardinals stack by pairing Brissett with Wilson. If you’re playing DFS, you can go with those two, along with McBride, who is highly likely to be absolutely peppered with targets.

Brissett makes a ton of sense if you lost Jaxson Dart as well, as the rookie is out this week with a concussion. It’s crazy to say it, but Brissett has top-12 fantasy upside once again here.
