Is Drake London Playing Week 17?

Update: London is ACTIVE

London has been dealing with a PCL injury in his knee since Week 11 when he exited the game against the Carolina Panthers. The wide receiver missed four consecutive games before returning to action in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals, where he played a season-low 69% of offensive snaps and caught just three passes for 27 yards. He has not logged a full practice session since suffering the injury.

London followed a nearly identical practice pattern this week to what fantasy managers saw in Week 16. He was listed as a limited participant on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as the Atlanta Falcons prepared for Monday night’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The team listed him as questionable on the final injury report, marking the second consecutive week he has carried that designation.

Despite the official tag, head coach Raheem Morris expressed optimism about London’s availability. Morris said he feels “great” about London playing on Monday night against the Rams. ESPN’s Marc Raimondi reported that London is on track to be available for the contest, echoing Morris’s confidence. The Falcons confirmed on Saturday that London would be active for Monday’s game.

London should be viewed as available for fantasy championship lineups. The knee issue remains a concern, but the expectation is that he will suit up and handle his normal workload against Los Angeles. Fantasy managers can confidently start London as a low-end WR1 option despite the questionable designation.

London’s Fantasy Football Outlook

From Weeks 1-11, London was PPR WR3 (19.7 PPG, trailing only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Puka Nacua) and over the last three times we saw him (Weeks 9-11), he was the top performer in the position.

Following the strong 2024 showing (100-1,271-9), Atlanta’s ace was viewed as a Tier 2 receiver that fantasy managers could trust at a high level, loyalty that he very much rewarded you for in 2025 prior to suffering this knee injury.

A knee injury had kept him out since that strong start, but he returned last week to run 30 routes (69.9% snap share) and rack up eight targets against the Cardinals.

I understand that production wasn’t there (5.7 PPR points), but if you told me at any point over the next five seasons that I was getting 8+ targets from London, I’d blindly play him and let the dust settle.

The Rams defense is good, but not without holes lately. They’ve allowed a receiver to clear 17 points in fourth straight and the top scoring WR to eclipse his season average in seven of eight games since returning from bye.

Maybe you’ve seen something I haven’t, but London seems to be as safe of a bet to lead his WR room in scoring as just about anyone in the league.

Play London with confidence.
