Jeremiyah Love was naturally going to be a hot-button player this summer in fantasy football circles due to the draft capital spent on him. His ADP, however, was always destined to be impacted by Ashton Jeanty failing to live up to lofty expectations a season ago. The asking price is lower this time around, and we might well get the type of season that we thought was in store for Las Vegas’s rookie just 12 months ago.
Fantasy Football Star Jeremiyah Love Makes His Debut
Fans are quick to jump on preseason highlights if they confirm their opinions and dismiss the ones that don’t. It’s the nature of the beast for a game that we all love and have been without for six months.
Love had a nice hurdle in an efficient debut. The athletic tools are clearly there, and while it’s hard to take much from a game played against backups on a defense that struggles even when their regulars are on the field, it is worth noting that Jeanty’s first data point (three carries for -1 yard) wasn’t a positive one.

This Arizona offensive structure isn’t going to be better than the league average, but if it’s better than what Las Vegas supported Jeanty with in 2025, Love has the potential to give us Round 1 value.
Those Raiders didn’t demand respect. They didn’t have a quarterback capable of stretching the field, and they didn’t have receivers who could turn low-leverage targets into big plays.
No one is claiming that the Cardinals are the second coming of the Greatest Show on Turf, but they have a viable quarterback, two receivers who can earn targets, and a tight end who is at least as good as what Las Vegas had last season. At the very least, this is an offense with enough optionality to keep defenses honest, and that’s all it takes for Love to average around 15 points per game in a featured role.
