Redraft fantasy football is all about constant shifting and movement as players’ stocks rise and fall week after week. It’s a weekly game, and there’s always major movement within rankings, but dynasty isn’t the same.
Dynasty fantasy football — which allows you to have the same roster year after year — is much more methodical and slow-moving because it has a larger picture in mind. However, there can still be movement, and players’ stocks can shift drastically after a string of bad or good performances.
With that in mind, here are my updated QB dynasty fantasy football rankings going into Week 8.

Dynasty Stock Watch After Week 7
Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers
Dynasty managers had been keen to move Brock Purdy up the QB rankings following his dominant stretch to begin his NFL career, but the past couple of games have people in a holding pattern.
In the past two games, Purdy has averaged just 198.5 yards passing and has thrown two touchdowns — one of which was a long Christian McCaffrey play — to three interceptions.
He has not looked great, and questions are beginning to arise about whether or not San Francisco made the right choice to keep him instead of Trey Lance. While we’re still a while away from knowing the answer to that question, Purdy has to pause his climb in the dynasty rankings for the time being.
