Top TEs To Start in Week 6

Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions

LaPorta is a rookie tight end. Rookie tight ends should not be able to do what he’s doing so far this season.

Through his first five career games, LaPorta has finished outside of the top eight at the position in full-PPR scoring formats for fantasy football just once. That performance was in Week 4 where he finished as the TE17, which doesn’t really crush your lineup either.

LaPorta’s been fantastic, and he’s a key part of this dynamic offense in Detroit. He’s matchup proof at this point and deserves to be in your starting lineup each and every week.

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

Did we just witness the return of Kyle Pitts for fantasy football? Let’s pump the brakes just for a minute, but Week 5’s performance was highly encouraging after several weeks of lackluster production.

Arthur Smith decided to finally incorporate Drake London and Pitts heavily into the game plan, and it yielded good results!

Pitts saw 11 targets against the Houston Texans that he turned into seven receptions and 87 receiving yards. He did this all while having Jonnu Smith produce right alongside him, too.

We can slowly start to inch Pitts back up the rankings, but if Smith is going to allow this offense to open things up a bit and finally target its best playmakers, Pitts could be back in the top five of TE rankings here very soon.
