Quarterback Josh Allen topped an elite PFN’s Top 100 list after another sensational season by the Buffalo Bills star. Despite his impressive performances during the regular season, Allen could not break his Super Bowl curse as the Bills fell to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round.
Geoff Schwartz Ridicules Josh Allen’s Super Bowl Record
During an appearance on this week’s segment of the “Dan Patrick Show,” former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett defended Allen’s postseason record and predicted that the Bills quarterback would win multiple Super Bowls.
“For years, they said John Elway is a regular-season quarterback, but you and I both know that John Elway put that city of Denver on his shoulders and he carried them there, and when they got to play in the Super Bowl, they weren’t as good,” Garrett said. “Let’s go back 20 years and you’re doing this show, we’re having this same conversation about Peyton Manning.
“He throws all these touchdown passes, but in the big games, New England knows how to shut him down. And that’s a story that’s been a story for a long time in a lot of different sports; how the guy can’t break through… and then he breaks through. The circumstances around him are better, and then he’s able to do that. So, Josh Allen will win a Super Bowl, and I believe he’s going to win multiple Super Bowls, and he’s knocking on the door.”

Former NFL offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz mocked Garrett’s prediction about Allen’s Super Bowl success on X with a simple statement.
“Can he play in one before he’s going to win multiple Super Bowls?” Schwartz wrote.

The Bills had their best opportunity to clinch a Super Bowl after Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs had a woeful 6-11 season and missed the postseason entirely for the first time since 2014.
Since the Bills selected Allen No. 7 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, the franchise has become a perennial playoff contender. The Bills have reached the AFC Championship Game twice in the Allen era, but their postseason losses have racked up. Four of their seven losses were inflicted by the Chiefs, while the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals have all chipped in to lengthen the Bills’ postseason misery.
The Bills responded to last season’s disappointment by firing Sean McDermott and appointing Joe Brady in his place and adding veteran wide receiver D.J. Moore as another offensive weapon for Allen.
In the regular season, Allen earned a PFN QB Impact score of 80.3, ranking him at No. 9 in the league after tallying 3,668 passing yards on 69.3% completion, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, while adding 579 rushing yards and 14 scores.
