‘Kevin Patullo’s A** Needs To Be Gone’ — Ex-Cowboys DE Calls for Eagles To Fire OC After ‘Horrible Year’

One former Cowboys DE wants to see the Eagles fire their offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo after a running a poor offense in 2025.

The Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated by the injury-ravaged San Francisco 49ers on wild card weekend. It was a disappointing season all things considered for Philadelphia after such a triumphant victory over the dynasty Chiefs in the season before.

Their offense looked like a shell of itself in 2025, and a lot of the blame has been placed on OC Kevin Patullo. The heat is just ramping up, too.

Ex-NFL Player Wants Kevin Patullo Fired

Former Cowboys defensive end Marcus Spears called for Patullo’s job. The Eagles simply couldn’t get it done on the offensive end despite all the talent.

They looked out of sorts under Patullo’s leadership, and many fans and media want him canned.

“Kevin Patullo’s a** needs to be gone,” said Spears.

Spears has seen enough of Patullo. Patullo is not in the good graces of many people in the NFL world and has several individuals calling for his job.

The Eagles had the 16th-ranked offense in PFSN’s Offense Impact metrics, with a score of 74.6 and a Grade C. After having a dynamic offense in 2024, which helped them win the Super Bowl, their offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, left for New Orleans to become the head coach. Nick Sirianni brought in his buddy Patullo, but he couldn’t get the Philadelphia offense rolling.

With Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, and A.J. Brown on the offense, that is too much talent to be as ineffective on the offensive side of the ball as they were. Brown’s frustrations with his involvement in the offense were a clear indication of the problems that the Philadelphia offense faced in 2025.

The Eagles have to make changes on the offensive side of the ball. Patullo is the heavy favorite to be the first one out the door, but it could be someone else. Brown’s outbursts could spell the end of his time in Philadelphia. After the spat with Sirianni on the sideline, Brown was once again visibly frustrated. If Patullo isn’t fired, Brown could be the change that Philadelphia decides to make.

All in all, the Philadelphia offense won’t look the same next season. With minor changes, the Eagles could soar right back to the top of the NFL. They have a good defense and foundational pieces on offense. They aren’t going anywhere and should be back in contention for the Super Bowl next season.
