Justin Reid may not have capped his final season with the Kansas City Chiefs with another Lombardi Trophy, but he still celebrated a far greater victory off the field. In January, the former Chiefs safety and his girlfriend, Marissa Rand, welcomed their first child together.
Now, months later, the NFL star is once again melting hearts, this time with a touching birthday tribute to Rand, celebrating her not only as his partner but also as the devoted mother of their newborn.

Reid shared a carousel of photos that captured their life together: from red-carpet appearances and travel moments to a sweet family day at the beach with their baby girl.
The birthday celebration appeared to be an intimate one at home, complete with a simple cake-cutting moment in the dining room. Rand, holding their daughter, was surrounded by red balloons and roses as Reid captured the moment.
“Happy birthday baby ☺️😍 I love all our crazy fun goofy moments. Never a dull day 😂 Cici and I love you!!! ❤️,” Reid wrote in his caption, tagging Rand.
The couple has been together since September 2022, and Rand is often seen supporting Reid at his games. Their relationship gained attention in October 2024, when they announced they were expecting their first child in a playful nod to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s viral pregnancy reveal.
During a Chiefs game against the New Orleans Saints, Rand stood on the sidelines in a black jumpsuit, holding a sign that read, “Justin, I’m pregnant.”
Reid looked over from the field in surprise as fans cheered, and the pair later shared the moment on Instagram. “I heard Super Bowl babies are God’s favorite ;)” Rand joked in her caption.
Reid, who won two Super Bowls with Kansas City before signing with the New Orleans Saints this offseason, reflected on fatherhood during a press conference in January. “It was a busy weekend for me,” Reid said with a smile. “I had my baby girl, which was the highlight, even better than the divisional win.”
He went on to describe witnessing the birth as one of the most emotional experiences of his life. “I got to go to the birth center, I saw her being born, and I didn’t feel anything except love and so much happiness holding her,” he shared.
Now settled into a new chapter both personally and professionally, Reid has been making an impact with the Saints this season. Through six games, the veteran safety has recorded 21 tackles and one pass defended, ranking 54th in PFSN’s Safety Impact metric.
