The Philadelphia Eagles had a disappointing end to the 2025 season. After winning the NFC East and finishing the regular season with an 11-6 record, the team lost its first playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. After the loss, head coach Nick Sirianni fired offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo after just one season in the role.
On Friday, NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed that the Eagles are now targeting a promising assistant from the NFC South for their job opening.
Eagles Interviewing Zach Robinson for OC Job on Friday
Patullo was brought in ahead of the 2025 season after previous offensive coordinator Kellen Moore left to become the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Under Patullo, the offense took a step back in 2025. The Eagles finished 16th in PFSN’s Offense Impact ranking in 2025 after finishing 14th in the ranking in 2024.
The run game in particular took a big step backward in 2025. Saquon Barkley rushed for 2,005 yards in 2024 and averaged 5.8 yards per attempt. In 2025, Barkley rushed for 1,140 yards and averaged just 4.1 yards per attempt.
On Friday, Schefter reported that the Eagles are interviewing Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson for their vacant role. Robinson was the Falcons’ offensive coordinator in 2024 and 2025, but the Team fired head coach Raheem Morris after this season.
Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson is interviewing today in Philadelphia for the Eagles offensive coordinator job. He also has already interviewed for the same jobs with Tampa Bay and Detroit.

Robinson has been a popular name during this cycle, as he has already interviewed for offensive coordinator jobs with the Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In 2025, Robinson’s Falcons offense finished 18th in the league with a 74.2 grade from PFSN’s Offense Impact ranking. In 2024, Robinson’s first season with the team, the Falcons finished eighth with an 80.1 grade.
Before landing with the Falcons, Robinson spent five seasons as an offensive assistant under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams. The Eagles won the Super Bowl in the 2024 season, so expectations were high for 2025. The team failed to reach that level again, but the hope is that with a revamped offense, the Eagles can contend again in 2026.
Finding stability at the offensive coordinator spot has to be a priority. Sirianni is about to hire his fifth different offensive coordinator since 2021. Shane Steichen had the job in 2021 and 2022 before leaving to become the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.
Since Steichen’s departure, the team has had Brian Johnson, Moore, and now Patullo in the role for just one season each.
