A.J. Brown recently sparked controversy about his current situation with the Philadelphia Eagles. He called it a “Sh** Show” during a live stream appearance with internet NFL reaction personality Janky Rondo on Twitch.
His head coach, Nick Sirianni, was asked about this during an interview with “Sports Radio 94 WIP” in Philadelphia on the following morning. He made his stance clear on the outspoken wide receiver.
Nick Sirianni Responds to A.J. Brown’s Controversial Comments
Brown seemingly expressed his displeasure with the Eagles during a live stream with Rondo on Twitch. His production has been down in their struggling offense this season, which may be a contributing factor to his alleged frustrations. Sirianni directly responded to the situation during his radio interview on Wednesday morning.
“When there’s obviously an ability to debate what he meant … You go with your interactions with guys on a daily basis, and not what people are speculating … We are in tune to what’s going on here, and the relationships that we have in here, and the process that we have in here. And A.J. is all in,” explained Sirianni.
Nick Sirianni explains that he does not want to “speculate” on what A.J. Brown meant by his “s**tshow” comment.

The head coach defended his star wide receiver and insisted that he is still “all in” on what the Eagles are doing this year. Some of Brown’s comments during the stream seem to oppose this philosophy.
“Family’s good. Everything else? No. It’s a sh** show,” he stated.

He then implied that he doesn’t expect his production to get stronger as the season goes on. He gave advice to his fantasy football managers. “If you got me on fantasy, get rid of me,” he added.

He also commented on an image that was shared on the screen during the live stream. It showed him having strong statistics in a game of Madden. “That’s the only highlights of damn football I been living right now,” he exclaimed.

Brown is having a massively disappointing season compared to his usual level of production. He has finished among the top ten wide receivers in PFSN’s Impact Rankings in each of the past three years, but ranks 43rd this season. That’s a massive downgrade.
Pairing his frustrating performances with his controversial comments has sparked speculation among many in the league that he has a direct issue with his place on the Eagles and could potentially want out. Sirianni apparently doesn’t believe this to be the case, or at least, he is avoiding fueling the issue publicly and would rather handle it in-house than through the media outlets.
