NFL Inactives Tonight: Eagles-Giants Injury Report, Latest on Saquon Barkley and Jaxson Dart, Starting Lineups for TNF

The Eagles face the Giants on Thursday Night Football with injuries affecting both teams, let's look at their lineups and inactive lists.

The Philadelphia Eagles got off to a strong start at the beginning of the 2025 NFL season and lead the NFC East. They certainly looked like the defending Super Bowl champions they are. They entered Week 5 as one of only two teams remaining undefeated, the other being the Buffalo Bills, but suffered a stunning loss to the Denver Broncos, which put them at 4-1.

The New York Giants have had nearly the opposite start to their season. They are currently last place in the NFC East at 1-4, with their sole win coming over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

Neither team has an elite offense at this point. According to PFSN’s Offense Impact Ranking, the Eagles have earned a grade of C- and the Giants have a D- through the first five weeks. So, who will play and who will be inactive in this Thursday Night Football divisional battle?

Inactive List Eagles vs. Giants

The Eagles suffered a huge blow when three-time Pro Bowler Landon Dickerson left the Broncos game with an ankle injury. Dickerson has had a difficult start to his fifth season after having meniscus surgery in August. Jalen Carter was ruled out before the game after popping up on the injury report with a heel injury. Saquon Barkley missed practice earlier this week with a knee injury but will be ready by kickoff to face his former team.

The Giants have been plagued by injuries early this season. They already lost wide receiver Malik Nabers to an ACL tear in Week 4, and now veteran Darius Slayton is inactive against the Eagles.

  • TE: Dallas Goedert
  • LT: Jordan Mailata

The Giants benched Russell Wilson after the team started 0-3 in favor of the rookie Jaxson Dart. The former Ole Miss standout has been dealing with a hamstring injury but is good to go for Thursday Night. He will be joined on offense by:

  • TE: Theo Johnson

Their special teams unit suffered a big blow when place kicker Graham Gano was injured during Week 3. They took a chance on Younghoe Koo, hoping that a change of view would give him the spark he needed. The rest of the unit is:

  • PK: Younghoe Koo
  • P and H: Jamie Gillan
  • PR and KR: Gunner Olszewski
  • LS: Casey Kreiter
