My Superflex dynasty rankings for Week 11 were difficult to put together. Most players stayed put, but since fantasy football is a game that’s always changing, we need to stay ahead of the curve where we can and see trends as they develop. When putting together my own 1QB dynasty rankings for this week, I looked at how injuries have impacted player expectations and how a team’s offensive output can show how volatile some players can be. Speaking of which, there are guys whose spots changed from my Week 10 PPR dynasty rankings.
Superflex Dynasty Rankings Week 11 | Risers
QB – Justin Herbert +1, Aaron Rodgers +2
Justin Herbert definitely seems like the real deal through nine games this season. He’s a rookie playing like a vet, and for me, he is the best rookie QB of the class this year, although Joe Burrow is on his heels.
I dropped Aaron Rodgers last week, but it was clear to me that he deserves to be in the top 10. He’s still got the talent and surrounding cast with MVS finally stepping up to be a solid dynasty QB for at least a couple more years.
RB – Ezekiel Elliott +1, Josh Jacobs +2
Zeke rises while on a bye, but that’s really only because I dropped Saquon Barkley in my Superflex dynasty rankings this week. More on him in the fallers section.
Josh Jacobs rose in my PPR dynasty rankings on his own merits. While he hasn’t gotten the targets we all expected, he’s definitely the engine that the Las Vegas offense runs through, making him easily worth the RB8 spot.
WR – D.J. Moore +2, Chase Claypool +6
D.J. Moore rebounds a little from his large drop last week, moving him back up to WR21. He’s still a risky player, but if he sees targets he’s easily a WR2 in dynasty.
Chase Claypool rises to WR35 this week thanks to his apparent role on the offense. He is getting targets, as well as gadget plays, designed specifically for him. That’s hard to ignore, and he’s easily worth the WR3 price at the moment.
TE – Dallas Goedert +4
The main TE riser in my dynasty rankings this week is Dallas Goedert who is officially back on the field for the Philadelphia Eagles. With Zach Ertz out and Wentz struggling, I suspect Goedert will be the main beneficiary for targets down the stretch and into the future.
Superflex Dynasty Rankings Week 11 | Fallers
QB – Dak Prescott -1, Ryan Tannehill -2
Dak Prescott falls one spot in my SuperFlex dynasty rankings because other QBs are playing now and playing well. There’s no guarantee that Prescott comes back at 100%, and if you have him, he’s on your bench not helping you win the title this year, unlike other options out there.
Ryan Tannehill is a victim of a bad offensive scheme combined with terrific play at the running back position. As the weather turns colder, the Tennessee Titans’ run game gets hotter, which has to temper our expectations of Tannehill as the season continues.
RB – Saquon Barkley -2, Melvin Gordon -1
Barkley’s 1QB dynasty rankings take a hit, finally, but it’s more based on the New York Giants being pretty weak on offense. They beat their rival Eagles this week, but even when Barkley comes back healthy next year, it’s hard to imagine him seeing lanes with defenses focusing on him as the main offensive weapon. He might rise again, but for this week, he falls slightly.
Melvin Gordon is a much more confusing RB option, both for this year and beyond. He’s on an offense that doesn’t seem to have an identity and is not doing much with the carries he’s been getting lately. Gordon is a great sell candidate in dynasty before the season ends, at least in my opinion, especially since he’s dropped so much already in my PPR dynasty rankings.
WR – A.J. Brown -1, Odell Beckham Jr. -5
A.J. Brown and the entire Titans offense frightens me. Similar to what I mentioned when discussing Tannehill when the Titans are bad on the field, they’re bad for fantasy. Brown is still a top 10 WR, but his floor is lower than we all thought.
Odell Beckham falls even though he’s on IR, largely because it’s hard to value someone who’s not playing. Call it recency bias or call it an injury risk, Beckham is seeing his value drop in most dynasty rankings due to him not producing at all this year.
TE – Jonnu Smith -1
Jonnu Smith is the third Titans player to appear on the fallers list this week, and for similar reasons. Smith looked like a stud in the later rounds of drafts, but as the season goes on, his floor gets lower and lower, making him riskier at an already risky position in fantasy.
