Drake London has been one of the best overall wide receivers during the 2025 NFL season. He has been the primary passing target for the Atlanta Falcons, but he suffered a knee injury last week that could impact his availability. Here’s where he currently stands ahead of their Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Will Drake London Play in Week 12?
London suffered a knee injury during the Falcons’ Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers. The good news is that he reportedly avoided a torn ligament, which likely would have ended his 2025 season, but a PCL sprain may force him to miss some time.
According to Josh Kendall, the Falcons beat writer for “The Athletic,” the star wide receiver is considered week-to-week as he looks to recover from a knee injury. He expressed that the team will likely evaluate his status throughout the week of practice before giving him an official designation for their Week 12 game against the Saints.
It’s an encouraging sign for his outlook going forward that he hasn’t been placed on the injured reserve list, which suggests his absence is likely to be less than the required four-game minimum for doing so. He also hasn’t been ruled out for his week yet, so he has a chance of avoiding any absence at all.
The Falcons are obviously hoping this is the case, though it may be a bit surprising to not miss at least one game with a sprained knee. London currently ranks 10th on PFSN’s Impact Rankings among all wide receivers, so his availability will play a major role in their overall outlook.
Whether he plays or not, the Falcons desperately need to get things going back in the right direction. They have lost each of their past five consecutive games after starting the season by winning three of their first five games. They now have just a 3-7 record, so if things don’t change soon, they could soon be eliminated from the playoff race.
Their offense will get a new look in Week 12 with Kirk Cousins replacing the injured Michael Penix Jr. as their starting quarterback. Cousins has plenty of NFL experience and a history of making the playoffs with the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders previously.
Cousins could potentially be the spark they need to get back into playoff contention, but his job will be made much more difficult if London is unable to play. His recovery progress will be an important factor to keep an eye on.
