The 2025 NFL Draft is almost here, and former Michigan Wolverine Colston Loveland is widely seen as one of the top receiving tight ends in the class. While tight ends might not always get the same spotlight as quarterbacks or wideouts, they play a critical role in a successful offense.

As these young prospects step into the national spotlight, fans naturally start wondering about life off the field—especially if players like Loveland have someone special in their lives.

Is Colston Loveland Dating Anyone in 2025?

Loveland grew up on a farm in rural Idaho, where he learned the value of hard work and teamwork before ever stepping onto the gridiron.

A four-star recruit out of high school, he played both tight end and linebacker and was ranked the No. 1 player in Idaho. He received offers from top programs like Alabama, Michigan, LSU, and Oregon before committing to the Wolverines.

Whether it’s his Christian upbringing or just that small-town privacy, Loveland has kept his personal life quiet. There’s no public evidence that he’s in a relationship, and he hasn’t been linked to anyone romantically.

His Instagram account, which has more than 61,000 followers, focuses almost entirely on football. No photos or tags are suggesting he has a girlfriend, and no one else has posted anything that publicly connects him to a relationship.

What Can the NFL Expect From Colston Loveland?

In PFSN’s latest mock draft, Loveland is projected to go No. 25 overall to the Houston Texans. While that may seem later than expected for a player with his skill set, he could instantly bolster the passing offense.

“Loveland would allow Houston to use even more 12 personnel after ranking 11th in usage last season (34.7%). Having multiple tight ends on the field could also help the Texans’ woeful rushing offense, which ranked last in success rate (31.5%),” PFSN wrote.

At 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Loveland is a long, athletic pass catcher with soft hands and sharp route-running skills.

According to PFSN’s scouting report, Loveland is “extremely talented” in a deep tight end class. He met expectations at Michigan, though scouts note that his blocking will need improvement at the next level.

“Loveland is a long and lean tight end prospect with excellent overall athleticism. He is a natural receiving tight end who was grossly underused throughout his collegiate career. He aligned all over the formation for the Wolverines but was at his best operating detached from the line of scrimmage and in the slot.”

Loveland consistently created mismatches against linebackers and found soft spots in coverage. With his long arms and reliable hands, he brings a ton of upside to any NFL offense.

For now, Loveland appears to be flying solo, at least publicly. But as his NFL career takes off, the spotlight will only get brighter—and any relationships he’s keeping private may not stay that way for long.
