Deshaun Watson had a familiar face cheering him on as the Cleveland Browns continued training camp. Watson’s wife, Jilly Anais, was in Berea on Friday for Day 3 of Browns training camp.

Anais, a singer and influencer by profession, shared several moments from her visit on social media. She also included one photo of her kissing the Browns quarterback.
Anais posted a three-word message alongside the update. She wrote, “Went camping today! 🏈4️⃣”

Her visit came after Watson turned in a better outing on Day 3 while once again taking first-team reps. The veteran quarterback completed 18 of his 27 pass attempts during practice. He was intercepted once by linebacker Quincy Williams.
Watson’s latest performance followed a difficult opening day of camp. During Day 1, the Browns QB completed 12 of 22 passes with two interceptions. Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders finished 16 of 19 without throwing a pick. Dillon Gabriel also impressed after going 7 of 9 with one interception.

The Browns are still far from naming a starting quarterback. Head coach Todd Monken confirmed he will continue splitting first-team reps between Watson and Sanders as the quarterback battle rolls on through training camp.
Watson’s Day 3 started on a rough note after Williams intercepted him on a throw over the middle during 11-on-11 work. However, the 30-year-old settled in later during practice and found success on shorter throws and checkdowns.

Sanders, who finished last season as the second-worst quarterback in the league (63.0 QBi), according to PFN’s QB Impact Metric, continued to make the most of his opportunities with the second-team offense. He put together another strong 7-on-7 session before ending the day by completing 3 of 4 passes during the final third-and-long period.
Gabriel also continued his promising start to camp, throwing the only touchdown of the day via Gage Larvadain.
After Day 1 of training camp, Monken downplayed Watson’s early interceptions and pointed to the offensive installation period.
“Today was a lot of quick-game install,” Monken said. “The first interception we ran a naked (bootleg) and Denzel (Ward)… it was a great play more by him than to me, a poor decision. I was standing right behind Deshaun, I would have made the throw. The second one was a dig where he was late.”
Training camp is still in its early stages, but the Browns appear committed to giving both Watson and Sanders every opportunity before deciding who will lead the offense heading into the regular season.
