In the summer of 2023, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began dating music icon Taylor Swift, with their romance going public that September. Roughly three years later, the power couple married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in front of a star-studded crowd, with comedy legend Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony.
While the duo did their best to keep unwanted paparazzi out of the building, trying to keep the bulk of their special night shrouded in secrecy, details have slowly been emerging.
NFL Vet Says Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s Wedding Had 5 Hours of Dancing
One person in attendance was former NFL offensive lineman-turned-podcaster Ross Tucker. After the wedding ended, Tucker expressed his gratitude for being included in the fun, but he also revealed some fascinating details of what was surely an action-packed night.
According to Tucker, the wedding featured over five hours of dancing. Which, had he not prepared by wearing the proper footwear, would have been a nightmare for the 47-year-old retired NFL vet.
Thankfully, he received a helpful tip from a wise friend in advance, even if he ended up “getting roasted” for his shoe selection later on. Others called Tucker “genius” for finding something comfortable.

Five hours of dancing included, it sure sounds like Tucker had a good time at the wedding. Then again, the “thank goodness” part almost makes one wonder if the lengthy dance period was strongly encouraged.
It’s almost as if Tucker didn’t have a choice but to stay on his feet, almost like he was trying to stave off a pass-rusher, all over again.
Still, how could anyone possibly prepare for five hours of dancing jam-packed into one night? One would think most dancers would have to eventually take a few breaks, possibly just to fetch more drinks. Others may simply need time to catch their breath.
But then again, there are always a few wild berries in the bunch who can’t help but let it all hang out on the dance floor. Was Kelce or Swift one of them? We may never know. But someone out there has the answers.
