In 2025, Dak Prescott had one of the best seasons of his NFL career despite failing to lead the Dallas Cowboys to the playoffs. Prescott earned his fourth Pro Bowl nod and will enter his twilight years in the NFL on the back of one of the league’s most potent offensive units.
Dak Prescott Addresses Split from Sarah Jane Ramos
During an interview with NBC’s Newy Scruggs, Prescott opened up about his breakup with his ex-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos. The couple was scheduled to get married in Lake Como, Italy, in April, but they called off their wedding.
“I’m great, I’m blessed. As I said, I’m a follower of Christ. And, you know, just having the faith that I do, it’s always been something, a superpower in a sense, that I’ve had is my faith,” Prescott said. “It won’t change, I won’t even say it gets shaken just because things happen, things don’t necessarily go my way or the way that I thought they would, doesn’t necessarily affect the way that I wake up each morning. I’m grateful my feet hit the ground.
“I’m grateful to breathe the air that I do and to be where I’m at. I’ve got too many blessings to look at my trials. I’m just super thankful to that opportunity that I have to be where I am and to have two amazing daughters, to be able to play the QB position for this organization and still inspire so many. Adversity is going to come. It’s inevitable. And if you know how to respond to it, and if you can respond to it consistently, you can get over it.”

Ramos and Prescott started dating in 2023, and the Cowboys quarterback proposed in 2024, while the couple was out on a golf course. They called off their wedding after a joint bachelorette and bachelor trip to the Bahamas. The couple has two daughters, Margaret Jane Rose and Aurora Rayne Prescott.

Prescott and Ramos reunited for their daughter Rayn’s dinosaur-themed birthday party in May, where they posed for pictures together.
Prescott denied a report by Page Six reporters Bernie Zilio and Antoinette Bueno linking him to Ramos’ bridesmaid, Caitlin Rance, after they were spotted looking cozy at the Professional Bull Riders World Finals in Texas. The Cowboys star revealed that they had been friends since their days at Mississippi State University.
Last season, Prescott tallied 4,552 passing yards on 67.3% completion, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, while adding 177 rushing yards and 2 scores for the Cowboys.
Prescott earned a PFN QB Impact score of 82.1 last season, ranking him at No. 6 in the NFL. He has also led the NFL in completions in two of the last three seasons.
