Before this season, Cooper Kupp had spent his entire NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams. But when the Rams take the field at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, the former Super Bowl MVP will be lining up on the opposite sideline.
After being released in the offseason, Kupp joined the Seattle Seahawks, setting up an emotional return to the place he and his family called home for years. Ahead of the matchup, his wife, Anna, shared a heartfelt message about returning to Los Angeles.

The Seahawks are coming off a commanding 44-22 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, jumping out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. Kupp contributed with two big receptions for 74 yards, continuing to settle into his first season in Seattle.
As the team prepares for its trip to Los Angeles, Kupp’s wife, Anna, marked their return with an emotional message. After landing on a cloudy California morning, she posted, “Hi gloomy lala, mommy’s home.”
A mainstay on the sidelines since his collegiate days to now with the Seahawks, Anna has been among Kupp’s biggest supporters. She even watches films with him off the field as an athlete herself and leaves cookies for him and his teammates in the locker room.

The two have been together since high school, first meeting at a track meet in Washington when Anna handed Cooper a medal after one of his events. Kupp later told ESPN he knew that day he would marry her.
“I knew that she was the one that I wanted to marry when we had first met back in high school,” Kupp said in 2022. “I told my mom the day I met her, ‘I’m going to marry this girl.’”

After attending different colleges initially, Anna transferred to Eastern Washington University so they could be together, and the couple married in 2015. Today, they’re parents to three children: their first son, Cooper Jameson (“June”), born in 2018; Cypress Stellar, born in 2021; and their youngest, Solas Reign, who arrived in 2023.
On the field, Kupp’s debut campaign in Seattle has been solid, even with Jaxon Smith-Njigba carrying much of the receiving workload. Through eight games, Kupp has recorded 26 receptions for 367 yards and a touchdown, ranking third on the team and placing 21st in PFSN’s WR Impact metric. Smith-Njigba, meanwhile, leads the league in the same metric, already surpassing 1,041 receiving yards through nine games.
