Here's the latest news involving the Cincinnati Bengals, including their situation at right tackle, the idea of potentially trading Tee Higgins, and more.

Aside from the Higgins’ situation, Cincinnati has work to do to fix their offensive line and help Joe Burrow avoid any further injuries. Will they finally be able to address their turnstile at right tackle? All that and more in today’s Bengals news roundup!

Will the Cincinnati Bengals’ Revolving Door at Right Tackle Stop Spinning in the Draft or Free Agency?

Pro Football Network’s Jay Morrison discussed Cincinnati’s situation at right tackle and pointed out the lack of consistency at that spot. Over the last three seasons, Cincinnati has had a different player lead their team in starts at RT each year.

That is just a recipe for disaster that the Bengals cannot view as a sustainable recipe for success. Cincinnati must prioritize upgrading their offensive line this offseason, especially with such a talented group of offensive tackles available in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Bengals GM Doesn’t Rule Out Tee Higgins Trade After Tag: ‘Hard for Me To Predict’

Despite placing the franchise tag on Higgins, Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin would not rule out the potential of a trade. While it’s easy to assume that Higgins will remain in Cincinnati, the Bengals also have the future contract extension of star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase looming over their heads as well.

That means Cincinnati could opt to tag and trade Higgins, allowing them to potentially add draft picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. They would then be able to draft another WR on a team-friendly deal and sign Chase to a massive extension.

Which Positions Are Bengals Interested in at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine?

While many expect the Bengals to look at upgrades along the offensive and defensive line in the 2024 NFL Draft, one report suggests that they’re also showing interest in cornerbacks at the 2024 NFL Combine. Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton is 30 years old and isn’t getting any younger.

Hilton also has just one year remaining on his current contract. The 2024 NFL Draft is stacked at the cornerback position, so Cincinnati would be smart to target one of the top cornerback prospects in this year’s class.

F- Grades and How the Bengals Scored Awfully on NFLPA Report Cards

As the results of the NFLPA’s survey were revealed Wednesday, Cincinnati received some embarrassing marks, including an “F-” in multiple categories.

The Bengals received the historically bad mark in three categories: treatment of families, food/cafeteria, and nutritionist/dietician.

According to the NFLPA’s report, the Bengals are one of 12 NFL teams that don’t provide a family room at their stadium. it’s unfortunate that the players’ families have to deal with this situation, but hopefully, the eye-opening grades will result in the necessary changes.
