Reign St. Clair Follows Brother Tavien’s Path — Ohio State QB’s Younger Brother Lands College Offers

Reign St. Clair, younger brother of Ohio State QB Tavien St. Clair, is aiming to surpass his sibling’s high school legacy as he begins his own recruiting journey.

Tavien St. Clair had a dominant career at Bellefontaine High School in Ohio. He was a three-and-a-half-year starter, breaking the school record for touchdown passes in his junior year and earning offers from some of the top programs in the country.

The five-star quarterback committed to Ohio State, where he is now a freshman entering his first season. The good news for Bellefontaine is that Tavien’s younger brother, Reign, will now take the helm at quarterback, and he’s looking to leave a legacy of his own.

Reign St. Clair Sets Sights on Following Brother’s Path to College Football Success

Reign St. Clair will be entering his sophomore season at Bellefontaine High School in 2025, where he looks to become the school’s starting quarterback after his older brother Tavien left for Ohio State.

Reign was recently interviewed by Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope, where he talked about starting his own recruiting journey.

Reign explained to Hope how having an older brother like Tavien will help him during his recruiting process.

“Just seeing him putting in the work and seeing all the opportunities that he got going along, it definitely drove me to start putting in work,” Reign told Hope. “I started to see like how it really helps, how lifting helps, how throwing helps, how getting guys out there to the field with you really helps, so I know I got to do that.”

Having your brother be one of the top quarterback recruits in the entire country can certainly help a player get a head start on their game, something that Reign clearly is taking advantage of.

Rising Sophomore Already Drawing College Football Recruiting Interest

While Reign isn’t a highly touted recruit yet, he is already taking the steps to be seen by some of the top programs in the country. According to Hope, the young quarterback has been to Ohio State twice for camps, and he has already earned offers from Eastern Kentucky and USF.

At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Reign is still developing physically compared to his 6-foot-4, 225-pound brother, but he has shown promise during camp appearances. The younger St. Clair participated in Ohio State’s 7-on-7 tournament with his Bellefontaine teammates, where he caught the attention of coaches and scouts.

While having a brother of Tavien’s caliber is great for Reign, he’s looking to carve out his own legacy and be even better than his big brother was in high school.

“I would say first team all-conference. Obviously, a lot of touchdowns, obviously try to beat his records,” Reign told Hope.

The good news for Reign is that he’s already making noise without even starting a high school game yet. If he can continue to develop and grow his game, there’s no doubt that he’ll be a highly touted recruit by the end of his sophomore season. With Tavien’s guidance and his own natural talent, Reign St. Clair appears poised to follow in his brother’s footsteps toward college football success.
