LOOK: Texas Mascot Bevo’s Jaw-Dropping Realism in EA College Football 26 Shows Off New Graphics Package

As more news continues to drop ahead of EA Sports College Football 26's release, fans were excited to get a look at the upgraded graphics.

EA Sports’ College Football 26 (CFB 26) is set to give fans a better experience through improved gameplay and new features, but the developers are also clearly aiming to deliver a visual masterpiece.

Since the game’s trailer dropped, numerous examples of enhanced graphics have caught our attention. However, a recent tweet from CFB Kings showed the actual difference between the ’25 and ’26 versions, which broke the college football internet.

EA College Football 26 Gets Jaw-Dropping Visual Upgrade From Developers

College Football 26 is shaping up to be a landmark release in the sports gaming industry. The developers have promised to change the entire playbook of gameplay, and the new features already look more than promising.

The Deep Dive gameplay footage, released this week, has received a positive response. Additionally, the most anticipated Dynasty deep-dive gameplay shows the game filled with everything players have been asking for a long time.

However, while we can’t experience all of these features until the official release on July 10, 2025 — unless you preordered the game to get the three-day early access — one thing is clear: the visual realism is unmatched.

EA Sports has unleashed a revolution in this game, and you don’t even need to play it on a console to feel it. Each texture and meticulous attention to detail gives the impression that we are about to experience a graphical masterpiece.

CFB 25 was already graphically stunning, but we never realized how far behind it was until @CFBKings on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a side-by-side comparison of the Texas Longhorns mascot, Bevo’s, model from CFB 25 and how it looks in CFB 26.

The newly rendered Bevo is bold, detailed, and majestic. From the rich texture of his fur to the sharper lines along his snout and horns, the visual upgrade has fans doing double-takes. The highlight, shadow, lighting, sharpness, and contrast against the smoky background look incredible.

The photo is a screen grab from the official Dynasty deep dive trailer from Monday.

Fans loved the upgrade so much that some claimed Bevo looked good enough to eat.

“Bevo would make a great steak,” one fan quipped on X, while another joked, “$70 for a better-looking longhorn… nice.”

Criticizing the doubters, one football fan wrote, “For those saying it looks the same, look at CFB 26. The fur is more textured, and there are more details on the nose and horns.” A fourth user added simply, “Holy s***.” The difference visibly moved everyone.

After the Dynasty deep-dive gameplay, this still image is the only one that has grabbed major attention so far. The new edition is arriving with many features and upgrades.

There’s no guarantee that players will love every change, especially since some skepticism still lingers in the community. However, the side-by-side comparison of Bevo in CFB 25 versus CFB 26 reflects that fans are getting more than they ever asked for visually.
