The sixth-ranked Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers will square off at Autzen Stadium on September 20 in one of the oldest rivalries in college football. The series, formerly known as the “Civil War,” began in 1894. Oregon currently holds a 67-48-10 advantage over its in-state foe.

In their most recent meeting in 2024, the Ducks rolled past the Beavers with a 49-14 win, extending their streak to two straight victories in the matchup.

Oregon enters this year’s game with the nation’s longest active nonconference winning streak at 36 games. The Ducks will aim to extend that run while closing out their nonconference schedule against Oregon State.

Oregon vs. Oregon State Preview

The Ducks have averaged 54.0 points per game this season, outpacing the 38.3 points per game surrendered by Oregon State by 15.7 points. On offense, Oregon gains 503.3 yards per game, a 79.0-yard advantage over the 424.3 yards allowed by the Beavers’ defense.

Conversely, Oregon State produces 18.7 points per game, 8.7 more than the 10.0 points per game Oregon gives up, and racks up 376.7 yards per game, 120.7 more than Oregon allows (256.0).

Oregon’s offensive line has been a key factor in the Ducks’ success. This season, the line has allowed zero sacks and leads the nation with the fewest sacks allowed since 2022 (31). This protection has allowed quarterback Dante Moore to thrive, completing 657 yards with seven touchdowns and just one interception through three games.

Defensively, the Ducks have not allowed a first-half touchdown this season, including holding Northwestern scoreless until the fourth quarter.

Anthony Hankerson leads the rushing attack with 190 yards on 51 carries (63.3 per game), while Salahadin Allah has 36 yards on eight carries (12.0 per game).
