‘What a Loser’ — Fans Rip Into Texas A&M Cop Who Loses Calm After Colliding Into Nyck Harbor

A cop at the game between Texas A&M and South Carolina has gone viral after colliding with Gamecocks' wide receiver Nyck Harbor following his 80-yard touchdown.

Nyck Harbor recently scored against Texas A&M, who have been one of the most talked-about controversies in the CFP rankings this year. Currently unbeaten this season, the Aggies rank just behind Ohio State and the Indiana Hoosiers. However, they are currently down 27 points against South Carolina.

According to PFSN’s College Football Playoff Meter, Texas A&M is the No. 4-ranked team in the nation. This puts them behind Ohio State, Indiana, and Alabama. However, they could be due for a massive fall off should they lose today against the Gamecocks.

Fans Rip Into Texas A&M Cop Who Loses Calm After Colliding Into Nyck Harbor

During today’s game against Texas A&M, South Carolina Gamecocks wide receiver Nyck Harbor received an 80-yard touchdown pass from LaNorris Sellers. This led to some backlash from an angry Aggies cop who met the receiver on the field after the score.

“Cop is mad at Nyck Harbor for scoring.” Pardon My Take shared a video of the Gamecock’s wide receiver bumping into the police officer coming out of the tunnel. This led to a number of reactions from fans as the Aggies continued to fall apart.

“@PardonMyTake He was coming to give him a speeding ticket.” One fan hilariously shared, as they continued to pile onto the police officer. Some pointed out a particular fact about the situation, with the cop potentially bumping into one of the players intentionally.

“100% powers through him. He’s gonna be in trouble.” One fan suggested, as multiple others spotted the same fact about the situation.

“@PardonMyTake Cop actually leans into the guy on the left… what a loser.” Another fan pointed out.

This season, Harbor has been one of the top 100 receivers in the SEC despite the Gamecocks’ apparent shortcomings. According to PFSN’s College Football WR impact rankings, the South Carolina receiver ranks 91st nationally with four touchdowns this year.

“Texas A&M police officer trying to act hard. lol don’t be mad your boys getting dog walked at home.” Another fan called out. Following Harbor’s touchdown, the Aggies were down by 27 points with their season in jeopardy before turning it around.

Meanwhile, after his touchdown led to the Aggies being behind by 27 points, their spot as the SEC conference winner could look to be in danger. With Alabama taking on Oklahoma tonight, the Crimson Tide could have found themselves in the SEC driving seat if not for a miracle turnaround from the Aggies.

According to PFSN’s PFM, Alabama has a 49.91% chance of winning the SEC. Meanwhile, Texas A&M lags behind with a 29.24% shot that will drop significantly tonight. Georgia is also in the running with a slim chance, at 15.74%.

This potential dramatic collapse came just hours after head coach Mike Elko signed a new deal with the Aggies. On Saturday, it was announced that Elko and the Aggies had agreed to a six-year contract extension worth up to $11.5 million per year. This places him among the top five highest-paid head coaches in the nation.
