A college football offense is nothing without the hog mollies that allow running backs safe passage downfield and prevent quarterbacks from spending the entire game in the dirt. Yet, these brave behemoths so rarely receive the true recognition they deserve.
Our college football OL power rankings, based on the PFSN College Offensive Line Impact metric, seek to right that wrong ahead of the final week of the regular season.

1) Utah Utes
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 99.0 (A+)
The Utah Utes entered the 2025 college football season boasting two of the top offensive tackles in the country, and they haven’t disappointed. The unit has allowed just seven sacks, equating to a sack on just 3.2% of true dropbacks. They’ve rarely been beaten off the snap, allowing a quick pressure on just 5.5% of 352 dropbacks, and a time to pressure of four seconds.
For as good as they’ve been as a pass protection unit, the Utes have excelled in the ground game, too. They’ve paved the way for 6.5 yards per carry, third among Power Four teams, with a ludicrous 1.58 yards before contact per designed run that leads all non-service academy offenses. Offensive tackle Spencer Fano is the third-ranked offensive lineman in the country (93.3, A).
2) Arkansas Razorbacks
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 95.3 (A)
For all the doom and gloom around a 2-9 season for the Arkansas Razorbacks, there have been some positives to take away (and to lure a new head coach). They have had one of the top offenses in the country this fall, and heading into Week 14, they rank second in our college football OL power rankings, boosted by providing 4.16 seconds of protection before pressure.
They’ve also allowed quick pressure (9.4%) and sack rates (6.7%) below 10% despite giving up 23 sacks. The line has allowed the ground game to thrive, with Mike Washington passing 1,000 yards for the first time in his career, and the team has averaged 6.4 yards per carry. Fernando Carmona has established himself as a top-10 offensive lineman in the sport.
3) Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 91.9 (A-)
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost several pieces from the offensive line that helped them to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game a year ago, but they’ve not seen any drop-off in line play. One returning lineman, Billy Schrauth, is the second-highest graded OL in the country (93.6), and three players rank within the top 10 at their position.
Unsurprisingly, the performance in the ground game is a key component of the Irish ranking third in our college football OL power rankings, paving the way for 6.6 yards per carry. Some of the holes created for Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price have been outrageous. However, the line has only allowed a sack on 3% of true dropbacks, providing a safe environment for CJ Carr.
4) Miami Hurricanes
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 90.0 (A-)
When you have a quarterback like Carson Beck, who has been prone to crumbling under pressure, you’d better hope you’ve got an offensive line that alleviates those concerns. Thankfully for the Miami Hurricanes, their positioning as the fourth-best team in our college football OL power rankings is predicated on their ability to limit the pressure faced by their quarterback.
No team in the country has allowed less pressure than the Hurricanes, with Beck facing unwanted attention on just 19.1% of true dropbacks. They’ve also allowed the least quick pressure (5.3%), and their 3.1% sack rate is one of the best in the country. Francis Mauigoa has been a top-10 offensive tackle in college football this fall, with a 90.1 PFSN College Individual OL Impact score.
5) Texas A&M Aggies
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 88.9 (B+)
Entering Week 14, the Texas A&M Aggies are within touching distance of the SEC Championship Game and College Football Playoff, with their quarterback receiving Heisman Trophy consideration. While the defense has been incredible, an offensive line that ranks fifth in our college football OL power rankings has been a massive component of Mike Elko’s success.
The Aggies boast a 3.2% sack rate (8 sacks allowed), with quick pressure allowed on just 6.8% of Marcel Reed’s dropbacks. Their 3.8 seconds time to pressure is also one of the top markers in the country. The line has also paved the way for 5.3 yards per carry, with 1.33 of those coming before contact. All five starters rank within the top 70 of their position, led by Ar’maj Reed-Adams, who is a top 50 offensive lineman in the country.
6) Oregon Ducks
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 88.6 (B+)
Dante Moore’s emergence as one of the top quarterbacks in the country has been one of the stories of the Oregon Ducks’ season, but equally important in their run to a likely College Football Playoff spot has been the performance of an offensive line that has allowed their young passer to flourish. Moore has taken just eight sacks this year (4.0% sack rate).
MORE: PFSN College Football Offense Impact
Opposing teams have had to send the blitz to get any significant pressure on the Oregon quarterback, with the Ducks boasting the fourth-best non-blitz pressure rate in the country (20.5%). Meanwhile, they’ve averaged 6.6 yards per carry with 1.34 yards before contact this season, showcasing dominance in the ground game, led by guard Emmanuel Pregnon, who has been an absolute force as a run blocker this fall.
7) Florida State Seminoles
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 87.7 (B+)
After beating Alabama in Week 1, it’s been a wretched season for the Florida State Seminoles. However, the offensive line has been the silver lining to a dark cloud, establishing itself as the No. 7 unit in our college football OL power rankings. While Tommy Castellanos’ athleticism helps contribute to a 5.8% sack rate, the five men in front of him have been rock solid.
That’s best demonstrated by a 7.6% quick pressure rate that ranks ninth in the country ahead of Week 14. Subsequently, Castellanos has had 3.85 seconds before pressure on average across his 380 dropbacks. The ‘Noles haven’t had the nation’s best ground game by any stretch of the imagination, but the line has contributed to 1.26 yards per contact on designed runs.
8) Iowa State Cyclones
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 87.2 (B+)
When you look at basic stats, you’ll see that the Iowa State Cyclones have allowed 19 sacks this season, and that doesn’t scream “top unit in college football.” Yet, Rocco Becht has been sacked on just 6.7% of true dropbacks. Meanwhile, the unit has allowed a 7.1% quick pressure rate, ranking sixth in the nation ahead of Week 14.
Four (Jim Bonifas, Brendan Black, Tyler Miller, and Trevor Buhr) of their six offensive linemen who qualified for an individual offensive line grade, earned a PFSN Impact score over 80.0, showcasing the stability across the entire offensive line.
9) Kentucky Wildcats
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 87.2 (B+)
Between homegrown talent, SEC transfer portal additions, and former Group of Five standouts, the Kentucky Wildcats have built an offensive line that belies the team’s struggles and overall record this season. Jalen Farmer arrived in 2024 from Florida and has established himself as a top-10 guard in the country.
Meanwhile, Jager Burton has been with the Wildcats since 2021 and is the third-ranked center in the country entering Week 14. In all, they have four offensive linemen with impact scores over 80.0, and their performance has allowed for 3.84 seconds average time to pressure which ranks in the top 30 nationally.
10) Georgia Bulldogs
- PFSN College Football Team OL Impact: 86.6 (B)
The Georgia Bulldogs have become synonymous with producing top-tier offensive linemen, so it should be no surprise to find Kirby Smart’s team within the top 10 of our college football OL power rankings. The 2025 team has allowed just a 3.9% sack rate with eight sacks on true dropbacks entering Week 14.
Furthermore, the Bulldogs’ offensive line has allowed pressure on 28.0% of true dropbacks, a top-25 marker nationally, giving Gunner Stockton plenty of opportunity to operate at a high level. Averaging 5.1 yards per carry, it hasn’t been the most dominant Georgia ground game we’ve ever witnessed, but the line has still ensured 1.12 yards before contact.
