Texas Stars Arch Manning, Colin Simmons Join Ryan Wingo in St. Louis for Powerful Homecoming Camp

Texas WR Ryan Wingo hosted a youth camp in St. Louis with Arch Manning and teammates—rain poured, but the vibes stayed high.

It’s not every weekend that college football’s brightest stars leave the stadium spotlight to return to a high school field to share moments with adorable kids. We know that college football programs are often easygoing and genuinely love to share love wherever they go. You can’t single out just one program for creating memorable moments like this. But today, we’re talking only about the Texas Longhorns.

Texas wide receiver Ryan Wingo returned to his hometown to host a youth football camp. The skies were cloudy, but the emotion on the field was electric. Wingo didn’t stand alone either. He shared the moment and energy with local kids alongside his teammates, including QB1 Arch Manning and several other Longhorns’ stars who flew into St. Louis to support him.

Arch Manning Joins Ryan Wingo for Emotional Youth Camp in St. Louis

KVUE’s Cory Mose reported that Manning and several other Longhorns traveled to St. Louis for Ryan Wingo’s youth football camp. The camp was held at Wingo’s former high school in St. Louis, Missouri. Starting quarterback, however, was not Wingo’s only partner at the camp. Wide receivers DeAndre Moore Jr. and Aaron Butler, along with standout linebacker Colin Simmons, also joined in.

The camp wasn’t just about football drills or signing autographs. It was about connecting with the kids and creating a fun, meaningful experience. It rained all day, but the energy on the field stayed high. The players kept spirits up and made sure every kid felt involved.

It reflected their strong team culture and leadership beyond the game. College football fans also loved seeing their joyful reunion. A video recently from the camp quickly spread on social media, capturing the players laughing, coaching, and posing for photos with the campers.

One particular moment caught everyone’s attention when Manning was greeted at the entrance. He was adorably asked by the check-in desk what his last name was. College football fans found it amusing, since apparently no one from the St. Louis high school recognized who he was. One fan wrote, “Good morning! What’s your name?” followed by “LOL.” Another added, “What is your last name? ‘Uh, Manning’ 😭.”

Other responses were also overwhelmingly positive. One fan wrote, “Love that team camaraderie and brotherhood.” Another X user noted, “A minimum of three first-round picks in that clip,” while others simply celebrated the moment, penning “Awesome, love seeing players doing stuff like this!”
