One of the next quarterbacks expected to be drafted in 2026 NFL Draft is former Georgia Bulldog and Miami Hurricane Carson Beck.
As he’s expected to be with his family while he waits for his name to be called, here’s more about the quarterback’s parents and sister.
A Look at Carson Beck’s Parents and Sister
Beck is a quarterback who has been a staple of college football since 2020. From 2020 to 2024, he spent his time with Georgia, where he won two National Championships as a backup quarterback. In 2025, he had the chance to lead Miami to the National Championship as a starter, but unfortunately lost to the Indiana Hoosiers.
In three years, he has an average impact score of 81.9 in PFSN’s College Football Quarterback Impact Metric. At the end of six seasons, his college career finished with a completion percentage of 69.5%, 11,725 passing yards, 88 touchdowns, and 32 interceptions. On the ground, he added an additional 288 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on 189 attempts.
Now he waits for his name to be called in the 2026 NFL Draft, where he’ll be surrounded by family and friends.
Carson’s athletic ability can be traced to his father, Chris Beck, a three-year letterman at the U.S. Naval Academy in the 1990s. Unlike his son, he played on defense as a linebacker.
Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, Chris was one of his son’s earliest coaches. He spent nearly a decade with him through Pop Warner and recreational football teams.
Then there’s his mom, Tracy, a retired professional dancer who performed for the NBA’s Washington Wizards, then known as the Washington Bullets. Before that, she was a member of the University of Maryland dance team.
Along with his parents, he’s sure to have his sister, Kylie, by his side. Like her mom, she was also a dancer who spent two seasons on the Bulldogs’ cheerleading team and performed with the dance team at Georgia basketball games.
Kylie was in attendance to support her brother during the national championship game between Miami and Indiana. Unfortunately, her brother lost that game, but today he could fulfill his lifelong dream of being drafted by an NFL team.
As he waits for his name to be called, PFSN’s Jacob Infante predicted in his Round 2-7 mock draft that Beck will be drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 149th overall pick.

If selected by the Browns, he’ll compete for reps with their quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson, and Dillon Gabriel.
There, he’ll have the chance to play for offensive coordinator turned head coach Todd Monken, as well as the team’s first-round draft picks Spencer Fano and KC Concepcion. Beck could be an upgrade, considering the Browns ranked as the worst offense last season in PFSN’s NFL Offensive Impact Metric with an impact score of 52.0 and a grade of F.
