Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has a new deal with the Arizona Cardinals, but he didn’t just celebrate by himself.
Bourne, who used to play for the San Francisco 49ers, decided to share the good news with his family. The results were hilarious and worth a highlight reel all by themselves.
Kendrick Bourne Pops Champagne Cork to Celebrate Cardinals Contract
On Tuesday, MLFootball’s account on X posted about the details regarding Bourne’s new deal and the champagne-tinged moment that he shared with his family over the new contract. Bourne was an undrafted free agent, too.

“Hey ya’ll, we gotta celebrate,” Bourne said in the video. “We gotta celebrate here. We done did it again.” As Bourne starts getting the bottle ready to pop, his little daughter is seen running back and forth between Bourne and her mother.

According to contract information shared by Spotrac, Bourne signed a two-year, $10,000,000 contract with the Arizona Cardinals, including a $4,500,000 signing bonus, $7,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $5,000,000.
“In 2026, Bourne will earn a base salary of $2,000,000, a signing bonus of $4,500,000 and a workout bonus of $50,000, while carrying a cap hit of $4,780,000 and a dead cap value of $6,500,000,” Spotrac indicated.
Per the PFSN NFL WR Impact metrics, which are measured through the regular season, Bourne had an impact score of 72.8 and graded out to a C-.
Bourne’s 2025 Season and Career Statistics
With the 49ers in the 2025 NFL season, Bourne played in 16 games, recording 37 receptions for 551 yards and zero touchdowns. Bourne averaged 10.4 yards per target when catching passes from 49ers quarterbacks Brock Purdy and Mac Jones.
Bourne played his first four NFL seasons with the 49ers before spending the next four with the New England Patriots. He returned to the 49ers for the 2025 NFL season. Now he’s heading to the Valley of the Sun to continue his NFL career.
In nine NFL seasons, Bourne has 329 career receptions for 4,265 career yards and 22 touchdown receptions. His longest career reception was a 75-yarder back in the 2021 season for the Patriots.
