Giants Star Cam Skattebo Has Viral Confrontation With Dominik Mysterio, Other WWE Stars on Monday Night Raw

Cam Skattebo was in attendance for WWE's "Monday Night Raw" and found himself involved in an altercation with superstar Dominik Mysterio.

In one of the most anticipated episodes of WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” in recent memory, New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is in on some of the action.

The rookie tailback, who is currently recovering from a devastating ankle injury, was in attendance for the show, which is being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Cam Skattebo Involved in Altercation at WWE Event

Skattebo and his entourage, which included comedian and actor Andrew Schulz, were sitting ringside during one of Dominik Mysterio’s promos when the WWE superstar approached the group. You can watch the full interaction below.

Mysterio, who is the son of WWE Hall-of-Fame luchador Rey Mysterio, even put his hands on Schulz at one point after antagonizing both him and Skattebo. Mysterio poked fun at both the Giants and the city of New York, mocking the fact that they hadn’t won a championship in recent memory.

“The only good thing that’s come out of New York City is standing right in front of you,” Mysterio said, before joking that Skattebo can’t count. The conversation escalated and Mysterio, along with members of his Judgment Day faction, engaged in a shoving match with Skattebo and fellow Giants teammates.

Of course, it’s all part of the show, but Skattebo’s involvement is certainly interesting. Mysterio is currently the AAA Mega Champion, a title he won at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event in September.

Cam Skattebo Expected To Be Ready by 2026

The ghastly injury Skattebo sustained in the Oct. 26 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was one that would rob him of the rest of his promising rookie campaign. Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle, a fractured fibula, and a deltoid ligament rupture; all of that is a fancy way to say that his foot was facing in the wrong direction.

A fourth-round pick who had essentially supplanted Tyrone Tracy for the starting job in the Giants’ backfield, Skattebo was one of the bright spots on a team that had won just two of its first seven games before his injury.

Through eight games, Skattebo had amassed 617 yards from scrimmage with seven touchdowns, five of which were on the ground.

When he was healthy, Skattebo had a PFSN RB Impact score of 73.3, right behind last year’s rushing champion, Saquon Barkley of the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
