‘Their Crowd Isn’t That Turnt’ — Colts Star Calls Out Rams Fans Ahead of Week 4 Clash

The 3-0 Indianapolis Colts await one of their toughest tests of the season when they head across the country to play the 2-1 Los Angeles Rams. SoFi Stadium has already hosted a Super Bowl and numerous other marquee events, but this Colts player took offense at news he learned about the environment.

As Indianapolis looks to start 4-0, this player knows he’ll have to do so under unique circumstances.

Colts Safety Camryn Bynum Addresses Fake Crowd Noise at SoFi Stadium

Camryn Bynum has been in the league since 2021, but this is his first year with the Colts. The 27-year-old spent his rookie contract with the Minnesota Vikings before making his way to Indianapolis. So far this season, he has 11 total tackles in the first three games. Seven of those 11 are solo, a trend that follows the success he’s had in his first four years.

When it comes to SoFi Stadium, Bynum learned of the Rams’ interesting tactics. Upon learning that fake crowd noise is chimed in, the 2021 No. 125 overall pick said, “They play fake crowd noise because their crowd isn’t that turnt.”

While he may have just learned about the fake crowd noise, this isn’t his first time playing at the stadium. Just last year, the Vikings fell to the Rams, 30-20. Bynum had seven tackles in that game, tied for his third most of the season. The Vikings then played the Rams again in the Wild Card round, but that game was infamously moved to Arizona due to the LA wildfires.

Prior to last season, Bynum had only played at SoFi Stadium in his rookie season. November 14, 2021, marked the date the Vikings took down the Los Angeles Chargers, 27-20. Bynum had six tackles in that game, five of which were solo. Most importantly, he picked up the first sack of his career. Since then, he’s added just 0.5 sacks in 54 games.

The Rams opened their season at home before playing two games on the road. They haven’t played at SoFi since Sunday, September 7, when they took down the Houston Texans, 14-9. That game saw an attendance of 71,346, according to ESPN. As for the Colts, their last home game housed a crowd of 63,910.

The Colts currently rank first in PFSN’s Offense Impact (OFFi). That assigns a letter grade to a team’s offensive performance. Through the first three weeks of the season, the Colts have a grade of A with a 95.8.

Bynum may still be finding his footing at Lucas Oil Stadium, but it’s clear he knows what stadiums are “turnt” and which aren’t. He didn’t hold back his thoughts on SoFi Stadium, a venue that hosts both the Chargers and Rams. He’ll look to continue his successful run of games in Los Angeles as the Colts’ quest for a 4-0 start runs through the Rams.
