The journey of brothers Shedeur and Shilo Sanders in the NFL didn’t start the way they expected, and the 2025 NFL Draft proved to be a tough experience for both. Shedeur had to wait until the fifth round to be selected by the Cleveland Browns, and Shilo wasn’t drafted at all, signing as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the draft ended.
After finally signing with Buccaneers, both brothers’ paths were set, but the spotlight stayed on them. Inheriting the media attention from their father, Deion Sanders, Shilo became one of the most talked-about rookies by fans, even as an undrafted player. A Buccaneers super fan made a bold prediction after meeting him in person.
Shilo Sanders Meets Buccaneers Super Fan and Gets a Bold Prediction About Their Future
Shilo’s wait for an NFL contract during the draft was a dramatic one for his family. When the draft ended and he signed with Tampa Bay, the pressure of the selection process was finally lifted. Not long before, there was strong belief that both brothers could be selected early in the draft, with Shedeur projected for the first round and Shilo possibly late on Day 2.
In Shilo’s case, the uncertainty was even greater because of college injuries that impacted his play and draft stock. Being picked late on Day 2 would have already been a surprise in a good way, but no one in the family expected him to go undrafted. Still, despite being undrafted, the support from fans is there.
A well-known fan of the franchise, known as “Buccafied,” ran into Shilo at a store and showed off his full passion for the team. His energy was so contagious that Shilo matched it right away, engaging with the same excitement while hearing words of encouragement and a bold prediction for the Bucs’ 2025 season.

“You gonna be the steal, the steal,” the fan said. “This is the steal, baby. This is the steal. We stole, Shilo. I’m telling you, we stole you… Ain’t nobody stopping us. Back to back to back to back to back, and we’re going to the Super Bowl. Ain’t nobody stopping us. Shut down. Lockdown, baby.”
“Buccafied” is a well-known figure among Bucs fans. He frequently attends games with his loud and passionate cheering style and sometimes wears a pirate ship costume on his head.
The Buccaneers have won the NFC South for four straight seasons and enter the new year looking for more. With a deeper offense now, thanks to the addition of wide receiver Emeka Egbuka in the draft, the team is projected to win 10 games and make the playoffs as the seventh seed. For the franchise’s super fan, though, this playoff run could be the start of something special.

a “steal” backup special teams guy? are we sure about that?
