Which Key Players are on the Buccaneers’ Injury Report for Week 15?

The Buccaneers are on a shortened Week 15 with a TNF game against the Falcons up next on their schedule. Here are some of the key names on their official injury report as the contest approaches.

1) Mike Evans

Mike Evans has only appeared in four games this year and hasn’t recorded a reception since Week 3 as he works his way back from a collarbone injury. He opened Week 15 with consecutive limited practices after his window to return from the injured reserve list had been opened by the Buccaneers. Todd Bowles revealed on Wednesday that Evans has shown everything they wanted to see (besides taking contact) and is in play for Thursday against the Falcons.

2) Jalen McMillan

Jalen McMillan was a solid contributor for the Buccaneers last season, including scoring eight touchdowns in just 13 games. He has yet to make his 2025 debut after suffering a neck injury, but he appears to be getting closer. He has been a limited participant in practice this week as he works his way back and could potentially make his debut this week.

3) Cade Otton

Cade Otton has appeared in all but one game this year, but a knee injury puts his Week 15 availability in jeopardy. He sat out each of their first two practices this week and is in danger of missing the game. Payne Durham would likely be their starting tight end if Otton is unable to play. While Otton returned to practice on Wednesday, Bowles revealed that he is doubtful for Thursday.

4) Tristan Wirfs

Tristan Wirfs has consistently been one of the best offensive tackles in the NFL during his career, but he has been limited by injuries this year. He has already missed four games this season, including their disappointing loss against the New Orleans Saints last week. He opened Week 15 as a limited participant in practice, so his availability is currently questionable.

5) Tykee Smith

Tykee Smith has been one of the best safeties in the NFL this season and has played in every game for the Buccaneers so far. This streak is in serious jeopardy as neck and shoulder injuries have forced him to miss practice this week. He currently ranks fifth among all safeties in PFSN’s Impact Rankings, so his potential absence is significant. His return to the field on Wednesday gives him a chance of being ready for TNF. However, Bowles described him as doubtful for Thursday.

6) SirVocea Dennis

SirVocea Dennis has had an up-and-down year with the Buccaneers. At times, his speed allows to make plays. However, he has also had a number of lapses that other teams took advantage of for big plays. Dennis has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against Atlanta due to a hip injury. This isn’t a surprise, as he hadn’t practiced all week.
