In their Week 13 game, the Cleveland Browns faced the San Francisco 49ers, and unfortunately, the matchup brought plenty of bad news. Four Browns players suffered concerning injuries during the contest.
Jack Conklin and 3 Other Browns Players Sustain Injuries During Week 13 Game Against 49ers
The Browns, who already have several players on the injury list, saw four more go down on Sunday against the Niners. Offensive tackle Jack Conklin, who signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the team, was ruled out for the rest of the game after suffering a concussion in the second quarter. At first, it looked like he might return, but he was later ruled out, and KT Leveston took over his job in the second half.
Browns fans were already without DE Alex Wright, and shockingly, another defensive weapon, Isaiah McGuire, also got injured during the game.
Browns DE Isaiah McGuire was down for a moment but is able to walk off the field under his own power. He heads to the medical tent.

This was rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ first NFL start at home, but he is losing key parts of his team amid a fierce battle against the Niners. Maliek Collins, one of the best Browns players this season, had to be carted off in the third quarter after sustaining a knee injury. Another player who exited the game was running back Dylan Sampson, making things even tougher for Sanders.
Is Maliek Collins Out for the Season?
Collins suffered a knee injury during the third quarter, and it seems to be a major one, making fans worry that they may have lost him for the season.
The cart is out and takes Collins off the field. Awful for Collins, who is having a career-best season in his first year in Cleveland. https://t.co/1Na9YIanGT

Collins has been performing quite well this year, currently ranking No. 24 on PFSN’s DT Impact with a 79.9 score. He has been a core part of the Browns’ defense and entered Week 13 after an impressive performance against the Las Vegas Raiders, which earned him praise from many, including head coach Kevin Stefanski.
“That defensive performance was incredible. The 10 sacks, three by Myles (Garrett), breaks his own Browns record; pretty special, just how all those guys were rushing, just the D-line in general, just harassing,” Stefanski said via Russo.
While Collins’ injury could potentially end his season, fans are hoping for positive updates on him and the other injured Browns players. Brown is already having a rough season, and losing some key players could further make things worse in their campaign.
