Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel recently celebrated his 25th birthday on Dec. 28. Following the special occasion, his fiancée, Zo Caswell, shared a romantic message on social media, expressing her love for the Browns rookie.

Gabriel’s rookie NFL season hasn’t gone exactly as he hoped. In the few games he has appeared in, he struggled at times, throwing for 937 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions, earning a 51.4 score on PFSN’s QB Impact.
While fans have also criticized him, especially amid comparisons to one of the most talked-about names this season, Shedeur Sanders, the support from his family and fiancée Caswell must be a major source of strength during this challenging rookie year.
The former Oregon Ducks quarterback turned 25 on Dec. 28, and birthday wishes poured in from fans and friends across social media. However, one message stood out for its warmth and emotion, which came from his soon-to-be wife. In her Instagram story, Caswell shared a romantic beach photo of the couple dressed in white. She captioned the story, “Happy birthday to the love of my life!! Can’t imagine doing life without you.”
Gabriel and Caswell’s love story dates back to their childhood. The two first met in Hawaii during a middle school summer orientation and began dating in high school. While their relationship grew stronger over time, Caswell has admitted their first meeting was a little “weird.”
“We met in the summer of seventh or sixth grade, actually, because we were both new to his school, so we had an orientation class. We met gardening, funny enough, and he kept coming closer and closer to me, and I was like, ‘Who’s this weird guy?’ That weird guy,” she said.
Their bond deepened during their college years, and the couple eventually got engaged in 2024, even before Gabriel made his NFL debut. Caswell has been a constant supporter of Gabriel’s career, frequently sharing her pride and excitement on social media, from the moment the Browns selected him in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft to his first career start.
The Browns have one game left before wrapping up their season, a Week 18 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, it appears likely that Gabriel may miss another game as he is listed as questionable on the Browns’ injury report with a left shoulder injury. Despite an underwhelming rookie campaign, fans are hopeful he can bounce back strong next season, with the continued support of people like his fiancée, Caswell, by his side.
