Denver Broncos WR Depth Chart ft. Jaylen Waddle From the Dolphins

The Broncos might very well have the strongest wide receiver room in the NFL next season. They Could major boost as Waddle joins a stacked depth chart loaded with talent and upside.

1) Courtland Sutton

Courtland Sutton remains a focal point in the Broncos’ receiving corps. While his production dropped with the team’s down years, he still has what it takes to help this team win a Super Bowl.

His four-year, $92 million contract reflects the value he’s brought to the franchise since being drafted in the second round in 2018. In his eight years with the Broncos, he recorded 453 receptions for 6,357 yards and 39 touchdowns.

He’ll aim to bag the Lombardi Trophy with the Broncos before he becomes a free agent in 2030 at age 35.

2) Jaylen Waddle

As the new kid on the block, Waddle steps into an interesting situation under head coach Sean Payton. Sutton is 30 years old, and while he still has some prime years left, the former Dolphins wideout is the perfect blend of youth and experience at 27.

Who’ll take on the bulk of the workload remains to be seen, as both players have shown an ability to produce at an elite level. In his five years in Miami, Waddle had three 1,000-yard seasons, totaling 373 catches, 5,039 yards, and 26 scores.

3) Troy Franklin

Troy Franklin exploded onto the scene in 2025 like a Millennium Falcon. After a 2024 season where he flew under the radar, the Oregon product caught fire this past season, bagging 65 receptions for 709 yards and six touchdowns (76.2 PFSN WR Impact).

Still playing on his rookie deal, four years, $4,874,836, Franklin is due for a big payday in 2028 if he continues to build on 2025.

4) Marvin Mims

Marvin Mims unexpectedly fell behind Franklin in the depth chart this past season due to the sophomore’s solid outing and recorded a career-low 8.7 yards per catch in 2025.

He’s still a valuable depth piece in Payton’s system and should see continued use as he plays out his rookie contract until 2027. Perhaps the fact that 2026 is a contract year sparks a fire in the wideout.

Here are the other wide receivers currently under contract in the Broncos:

  • Pat Bryant — FA 2029
  • Lil’jordan Humphrey — FA 2027
  • Michael Bandy — FA 2027
