Following a historic rookie season with the Las Vegas Raiders, tight end Brock Bowers is continuing to shine, currently ranking second on the team with 352 receiving yards. As his star rises on the field, fans have naturally grown curious about his life away from football, particularly his relationship with Cameron Rose Newell. Here’s what you should know.
Who Is Brock Bowers’ Girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell?
Bowers has been in a long-term relationship with Newell. The two have been connected since high school and were photographed attending prom together in 2021. Both grew up in Napa, California, although Newell attended Justin-Siena High School, according to her LinkedIn profile.
After graduating, the couple headed to college in different states. Bowers committed to the University of Georgia to play football, while Newell enrolled at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in May 2025, with a concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship and a minor in advertising.
Newell gained experience through several internships while in school, including a hospitality assistant role with Jarvis Estate Winery and a digital marketing and social strategy position with JIV Athletics.
Despite the long distance, Newell frequently traveled to Georgia to support Bowers during his collegiate career. She attended major games, including the Bulldogs’ 2022 National Championship win, later sharing her excitement over the moment on Instagram.
“To say I’m proud would be an understatement. You earned it Brock, I’m so happy I got to share this day with you❤️,” she wrote.
Newell was also with Bowers on draft night in 2024 when the Las Vegas Raiders selected him in the first round, celebrating the milestone publicly with a heartfelt message on social media. “You did it🤍 I’m so proud of you @brockbowers GO RAIDERS!” she wrote on Instagram.
Newell has since become a regular at the Raiders games, often sporting creative versions of Bowers’ No. 89 jersey. After a recent win over the Tennessee Titans, she joked online that her father’s years of trying to turn her into a Raiders fan had “finally worked.”
With Newell supporting him on every step of the journey, Bowers has continued to impress in his sophomore season despite injuries taking a toll. Through five games, he has hauled in 31 receptions for 352 yards and three touchdowns, ranking second on PFSN’s TE Impact metric.
With plenty of football still ahead, fans can expect to see Newell cheering from the stands as Bowers continues to emerge as one of the league’s brightest young tight ends.
