Update: Allen returned to the sideline with a walking boot after halftime. No update was issued immediately following the game.

The Badgers, down 10-3 at halftime against the Buckeyes, nearly closed the gap even further on Ohio State. But a goal line stand by Ohio State forced a 19-yard field goal for the Badgers. One play before the final play of the half, Allen suffered an apparent ankle or foot injury.

Allen, with 10 carries for 50 yards, was stopped in his tracks before reaching the end zone. He required help from the Badgers’ staff to get on his feet and could not put pressure on his leg as he was escorted to the locker room.
