‘Favorite Pick of the Draft,’ ‘Absolute Steal’ — Steve Smith Sr., NFL World Make Feelings Clear on Bills Drafting WR Skyler Bell

The Buffalo Bills added another weapon for Josh Allen by drafting wide receiver Skyler Bell in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Buffalo Bills are getting Josh Allen some help. The lack of weapons for Allen showed in the playoffs, as the quarterback tried to be Superman but couldn’t get it done against the Denver Broncos. They added DJ Moore through a trade earlier in the offseason, and now, they’ve selected UConn WR Skyler Bell to continue bolstering the wide receiver corps. Take a look at what the NFL world thinks of this selection for Buffalo.

NFL World Reacts to the Skyler Bell Pick

Bell is headed to Buffalo after the Bills selected him at No. 125. The Bills are focusing on their offense and have plenty of weapons to deploy.

The NFL world on social media praised the Bills’ front office for adding another weapon.

“Skyler Bell! LOVE IT. Favorite pick of the draft. Don’t have to punch anyone in the face,” said Bill’s social media personality, Patrick Moran.

Bills Mafia went crazy about this selection. The lack of weapons has plagued them for years, and now they might have enough to get over the hump.

“The Bills just drafted my FAVORITE WR in the draft,” wrote NFL legend Steve Smith Sr. on X. “Skyler Bell is a serious playmaker that can make an immediate impact in Buffalo. Bills Mafia make sure you give my guy a warm welcome.”

The Bills needed to find weapons, as they couldn’t go on like this much longer, with Allen having to play hero ball and bail out the Bills’ offense when it couldn’t get anything going. Instead, they found a baller in the later rounds of the draft.

Another analyst chimed in on the selection. “Skyler Bell is a steal for Buffalo at this point in the draft. Slot only but he actually runs real routes downfield. Love this for Buffalo,” said JP Acosta.

“Buffalo got an absolute steal in Skyler Bell,” said SleeperCFB on X.

The Bills have been looking for a player like Bell. He can play in the slot, but he can also give teams problems all across the field.

“Skyler Bell feels like the exact type of WR prototype the Bills love and leaned on in the past but then went away from with Keon Coleman and found their way back to again here,” said NFL writer Dan Schneier.

Others in the NFL world think that the Bills already have a player like Bell, though. Khalil Shakir is a similar player to Bell. Shakir has shown to be a dangerous weapon for Buffalo, and the Bills will be hoping that Bell can be like Shakir.

Bills fans are itching to see their team win its first Super Bowl after years of disappointment. Each year, the team falls short, and patience is running out. Needing to maximize the Allen window, the Bills are going all in on the offense.

According to PFSN’s Offense Impact Metric, the Bills’ offense ranked third in the league last season with an impact score of 86.5. Hopefully, Bell will help them maintain that brilliance and accomplish their goals under new head coach Joe Brady.
