‘Human Joystick With Incredible Throttle Control’ — Bills Projected To Draft 28-TD WR To Help Josh Allen, DJ Moore

Bills are projected to target KC Concepcion at No. 26 to add explosiveness, support Josh Allen, and elevate their regressed passing attack.

The Buffalo Bills have been one of the top teams in recent years that still haven’t reached a Super Bowl. Year after year, expectations that the team will make it to the big game and that Josh Allen will get his ring end in frustration, and last season’s playoff loss to the Denver Broncos is seen as one of the most painful in franchise history.

Looking to capitalize on Allen’s prime years, the Bills have been active this offseason to strengthen the offense, which has lacked a true top wide receiver over the past two years since Stefon Diggs’ departure. In the upcoming draft, Buffalo has a strong chance of investing early in the position, adding a polished route runner for the future.

Bills Predicted To Draft Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion

The Bills showed this offseason that they are placing more emphasis on the offense for the 2025 season. The offseason began with a trade for DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears, adding a reliable veteran presence to a unit that had lacked a true No. 1 option since Diggs was traded.

However, even with Moore’s arrival and the presence of Khalil Shakir, who plays an important role in Joe Brady’s system, the Bills still need a player who can create explosiveness and win as a quick, dynamic route runner, and that’s where KC Concepcion, the former Texas A&M wide receiver, comes in.

In PFSN analyst Jacob Infante’s new 7-round mock draft, Concepcion was selected by Buffalo with the No. 26 pick to bolster a passing attack that relies heavily on standout performances from Allen.

“KC Concepcion is a dynamic receiver with tremendous YAC ability and impressive quickness, excelling as a route runner who displays impressive explosiveness coming out of his breaks,” Infante wrote.

“Throughout his stints at Texas A&M and NC State, he’s been a reliable underneath weapon with inside-outside versatility,” Infante added. “Adding Concepcion and DJ Moore to Buffalo’s roster in the same offseason could provide a major boost to their passing attack.”

Over three years in college, including two at NC State, Concepcion recorded 28 total touchdowns and impressed everyone in the 2025 season, totaling 994 scrimmage yards in a campaign that established him as one of the top four receivers in the class.

In his scouting report, Concepcion is described as a “human joystick with incredible throttle control, change-of-direction, and spatial feel, traits that lend well to natural separation, RAC ability, and usage versatility.”

Concepcion is currently ranked sixth among wideouts on PFSN’s Big Board. He has an average draft position of 27.6 on PFSN’s Mock Draft Simulator, and is expected to be available for the Bills.

There is a possibility the Bills prioritize an edge rusher if they are not comfortable with Concepcion’s drop issues, which are a concern and the biggest weakness in his game. However, given his upside and the chance to pair him with an elite quarterback, this would be a difficult pick to pass on if he is available on the board.
