Who Are the Bengals’ Top Fantasy Players?

    WR Ja’Marr Chase

Ja’Marr Chase averaged 16.4 fantasy points per game last season, which are solid WR1 numbers but fell short of top-five pick expectations. He finished as the WR11, a noticeable drop from his WR4 finish the previous year.

Chase’s production metrics, such as yards per reception and yards per route run, remained relatively stable. However, his target share dropped from 29.3% to 26.3%, impacting his overall production.

    WR Tee Higgins

After surpassing 900 receiving yards in his rookie season, Higgins appeared poised to be the Bengals’ WR1 of the future. However, the arrival of Ja’Marr Chase changed the dynamic, with the two coexisting well in 2021.

Higgins’ performance dipped in 2022, averaging just 13.1 fantasy ppg. The 2023 season was a disaster, with Higgins averaging 11.5 fantasy points per game and finishing as the overall WR40. Multiple factors, including injuries to both Higgins and Joe Burrow, contributed to his struggles.

    QB Joe Burrow

Burrow had a disappointing 2023 season, hampered by a preseason calf strain and a later wrist injury, which limited his effectiveness and ended his season in Week 11.

Despite last year’s struggles, Burrow remains a high-upside quarterback, particularly since his current ADP is multiple rounds lower than in 2023. He’s now being drafted as the QB7 at 63rd overall.
