It is hard to grade the Arizona Cardinals’ 2024 season. While the team undoubtedly had some exciting moments throughout the year, the collective product wasn’t as inspiring as fans or management might have hoped. In the end, they finished with an 8-9 record and a subpar showing all over the football field.
They need to retool their current roster to have a better chance next season, and the latest seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from PFSN NFL Draft analyst Brentley Weissman is bringing in some solid talent to bolster the Cards’ squad and give them a better chance in 2025.

16) Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
“It’s not the sexiest pick here, but I think Arizona Cardinals fans should be very excited about it. Arizona needs help upfront along its offensive line, and Tyler Booker is one of the cleanest prospects in this class,” Weissman said.
“Booker has an excellent anchor in pass protection and is a people mover in the run game. Even more importantly, his intangibles will be a welcomed addition as the Cardinals build a winning culture.”
The Cardinals finished 2024 with a top-six standing in PFSN’s OL+ metric. But with some of the core on the older side, combined with Kyler Murray being notorious for holding onto the ball in his hands for too long, some additional depth wouldn’t hurt, especially with the guard spot still up for grabs.
47) TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
“The Cardinals dip their toes back in the Ohio State well with running back TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson has rare speed, burst, and acceleration to hit home runs consistently. He would greatly complement James Conner and, eventually, Trey Benson,” Weissman said.
James Conner has come into his own in his time with Arizona, especially over the last two seasons. But some additional help might be good for a team that tries to maintain its versatility following a top-five finish in PFSN’s Offense+ metric in 2024.
78) T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina
“T.J. Sanders is a powerful and heavy-handed player who knows how to penetrate the offensive line. He would be a disruptive force with the Cardinals’ defense,” Weissman said.

Defense is the biggest hole for Arizona, finishing as a bottom-five unit on PFSN’s Defense+ metric. In particular, their pass success rate was the worst out of any defense in the league, while finishing 28th against the run as well. Improvement is a must, and Sanders might be a genuine force to add on that end.
115) Hollin Pierce, OT, Rutgers
For a team that focuses on the run game as much as the Cardinals, adding a name like Hollin Pierce might be a no-brainer. While occasionally slow-footed, Pierce is a genuine force as a run blocker.
With an exceptionally high motor and solid size for the spot, he can be a difference-maker as the offensive tackle for a tantalizing ground game.
152) Seth McLaughlin, OC, Ohio State
Seth McLaughlin is one of the most experienced players in the draft, with nearly 2,400 offensive snaps to his credit. Playing for major blue-bloods like Alabama and Ohio State does give him an intangible edge that is hard to master.
A torn Achilles in November 2024 does put a damper on his stock, but McLaughlin has shown enough in his time with both programs to warrant a second look. Sharp and crafty, he is laterally mobile and can play out the numbers to create solid openings for RBs, something critical to the Cardinals’ offense.
225) Dalton Cooper, DT, Oklahoma State
More of a flyer than a guaranteed rotational piece, Dalton Cooper could come in for one role: his quick feet and the utilization of his 6’5″ frame. With tons of experience to boast, he could add to a defense that needs a major overhaul to take that next step into the playoffs.
