Baltimore star Zay Flowers had the best season of his NFL career last year, establishing himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league. As a result, the Ravens picked up his fifth-year option worth $27.29 million, keeping quarterback Lamar Jackson’s most potent receiving weapon in Baltimore at least until the 2027 season.
Antonio Brown Hammers Zay Flowers in Vicious Rant
In a vicious rant on a TikTok live session, controversial former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown blasted Flowers’ talent and claimed that he was the reason quarterback Lamar Jackson can’t win.
“If you say Zay Flowers with my name, you’re a loser,” Brown said. “Zay Flowers fumbles too much, he can’t hold water, he sucks!”
“Never mention me with that coward,” Brown added. “He’s not me, and I’m being honest… Last name Flowers, that boy the reason Lamar Jackson can’t win! Zay Flowers is the reason Lamar Jackson can’t win. Ask any one of my quarterbacks, I’m the reason they win.”

Despite Flowers’ impressive performances, the Ravens finished last season with an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs for the first time in four years, leading to coach John Harbaugh’s firing.
While speaking to reporters after last week’s Ravens minicamp, Jackson spoke about the immense value of Flowers to the team.
“You know what his value is to this team. We love Zay. We need Zay,” Jackson said. “He’s one of the best receivers in the league, and he’s shown that. His value is out of this world. Zay Flowers is a 1,000-yard receiver and an NFL receiver for a reason. I’mma leave it at that.”
Flowers tallied 1,211 receiving yards on 86 receptions, resulting in five touchdowns, while adding 62 rushing yards and one score for the Ravens last season. He earned a PFSN Wide Receiver Impact score of 86.2, ranking No. 7 in the league.
