Aireontae Ersery’s NFL Draft Scouting Report
Aireontae Ersery a highly experienced player who started for three full seasons at left tackle for the Gophers. He played in a zone-running scheme and was a highly productive player throughout his time. At 6’6″, 331 pounds, with a 1.75 10-yard split and a 9’3″ broad jump, Ersery’s combination of size and on-attack explosiveness is a sight to behold.
He’s one of the most dynamic zone blockers in the class; he’ll reach his landmarks with efficiency, and drive through defenders with overbearing physicality. Ersery’s size can be a double-edged sword, however. He plays tall, without elite knee bend, and his non-elite length causes him to lurch and sacrifice balance on extensions.
Ultimately, his best fit may come at guard in the NFL, but more refinement could strengthen his OT projection.

Aireontae Ersery’s Latest NFL Draft Projection
PFSN’s Ian Cummings projected Ersery to be drafted 59th overall to the Baltimore Ravens in his most recent 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Cummings said, “Aireontae Ersery is an explosive run-game attacker who also allowed pressure on less than 3% of his pass blocking snaps in 2024. He fits what Baltimore looks for at guard.”

Some boards will have Minnesota offensive lineman Aireontae Ersery higher, and they have reason for it. Ersery is incredibly explosive on the attack, with elite power drive generated from his 6’6″, 331-pound frame. But from a three-year starter, more refinement is ideal.
As it stands, Ersery still has room to keep developing. His tackle tape has its highs, but those high moments are blended within a compliation of poor leverage reps, uninventive hand usage and deference to two-hand extensions, and lapses in balance across phases.
Being 6’6″ without great knee bend and with just 33″ arms, leverage and lurching can be major issues for Ersery. Thus, he may project better at guard. There, he’ll have more help, his displacement skills will be amplified, and he’ll still be able to work on the move.
