Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love has become one of the most talked-about offensive prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft, drawing early attention from teams inside the top 10, including the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants. His blend of explosiveness, versatility, and three-down upside has made him a popular projection for franchises searching for a dynamic playmaker capable of elevating an entire offense.
Adam Schefter Highlights a New Landing Spot for Jeremiyah Love
But according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, two of Love’s most frequently mocked destinations may not be as realistic as early speculation suggested.
“To me, he’s a top-ten pick. I know a lot of people had him going to Tennessee … that’s not what I’m sensing right now. Today, I don’t see him going to Tennessee. I don’t see him going to the Giants at No. 5, although that would be an interesting spot and I think he’d have a lot of support there,” Schefter said Monday on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Tennessee’s connection to Love has been fueled by the franchise’s sweeping offseason changes. New head coach Robert Saleh brought in former Giants head coach Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator, a pairing that naturally sparked speculation about adding a high-end offensive weapon.
But Schefter’s comments suggest the Titans may be focusing their premium draft capital elsewhere.

The Giants, who continue to search for long-term stability on offense, have also been tied to Love throughout the pre-draft cycle. However, Schefter indicated New York is unlikely to spend the No. 5 pick on a running back.
Instead, he pointed to a different NFC East team as the most logical fit.
“To me, a place that makes sense would be the Washington Commanders. They have added to their running back room, [but] I could see Washington being interested in a player like Jeremiyah Love,” Schefter said.
Washington signed Rachaad White this offseason and has Jacory Croskey-Merritt as their early-down thumper, but both players delivered modest efficiency in 2025. White posted a PFSN NFL RB Impact score of 61.0 (RB28), while Croskey-Merritt finished at 61.1 (RB27). Love would represent a massive upgrade in explosiveness and long-term upside, particularly in an offense built around quarterback Jayden Daniels.

“I know they went out and they added Rachaad White and they added some depth at the running back position. But I still think if you can pair Love and Jayden Daniels, that would be dynamic. And they’ve been in need at that spot, so to me that’s a spot I’m watching a month out,” Schefter said.
With Love’s stock continuing to climb, Washington may be emerging as the team best positioned to capitalize on his rare skill set. Whether he actually falls far enough to make that possible is another question entirely.
