Tennis fans were impressed to witness a significant update to the scoreboard graphics at the Wimbledon Championships, a major change in the score bug in over two decades. The grass-court Grand Slam is scheduled to take place from Jun. 30 to Jul. 13, 2025, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London.
In the men’s draw, Carlos Alcaraz will enter the 2025 Wimbledon Championships as the double-defending champion, having claimed the title in 2023 and 2024 by defeating Novak Djokovic in the finals. On the women’s side, Barbora Krejčíková triumphed over Jasmine Paolini in the 2024 final.

A Look Into Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejčíková’s Winning Run at Wimbledon Last Year
In 2024, Alcaraz was seeded third at the Wimbledon Championships. He defeated qualifier Mark Lajal, Aleksandar Vukic, 29th seed Frances Tiafoe, and 16th seed Ugo Humbert in the first four rounds.
In the quarterfinals, the former World No. 1 overcame 12th seed Tommy Paul and then secured his place in the final with a victory over fifth seed Daniil Medvedev. In a rematch of the 2023 final, Alcaraz faced off against Djokovic and defended his title, winning his second Wimbledon Championships trophy.
On the women’s side, Krejčíková, seeded 31st, triumphed over Veronika Kudermetova and qualifier Katie Volynets in the first and second rounds, respectively. She then defeated Jéssica Bouzas Maneiro in the third round and 11th seed Danielle Collins in the fourth round, advancing to the quarterfinals.
In the last eight, the Czech triumphed over 13th seed Jeļena Ostapenko and then eliminated fourth seed Elena Rybakina in the semifinals to move to the final. Here, she faced seventh seed Paolini and defeated her to claim her first Wimbledon singles title and her second Grand Slam singles title overall.
