Giannis Antetokounmpo Drops Honest Verdict on Caitlin Clark After Fever Superstar’s Record-Breaking Performance

Caitlin Clark’s record-breaking return to the Indiana Fever draws a powerful reaction from Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

After missing three weeks with a left quadriceps strain, Caitlin Clark is back and better than ever for the Indiana Fever.

Clark returned to the court with a massive performance against the previously undefeated New York Liberty on June 14, leading the Fever to a huge 102-88 home victory. She was stellar in her first game since May 24, raining 3-pointers and picking up where she left off in a jaw-dropping display.

Her big game, which was nationally televised on TNT, even caught the attention of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Clark torched the Liberty in her return, racking up 32 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds in 31 minutes. She showed off her elite shooting stroke by making 11 of her 20 field goal attempts, including seven of her 14 3-point tries. She also made an impact on the defensive end with a steal and two blocks, doing a little bit of everything.

After the game, ESPN’s official TikTok account posted a clip that quickly went viral. In the video, Clark showcased her jaw-dropping shooting skills by scoring nine points in just 38 seconds, including back-to-back threes from the logo at halfcourt.

While the video itself was captivating, what stole even more attention was the comments section. Milwaukee Bucks star Antetokounmpo joined the thousands reacting to Clark’s highlight reel, summing up his thoughts in just two words.

“She’s tough,” the two-time NBA MVP commented.

You can say that again.

But Clark’s big performance wasn’t only about her shooting fireworks. It was a historic night for the 23-year-old guard filled with personal milestones.

According to Polymarket Hoops, Clark became the fourth-fastest player in WNBA history to reach 850 career points, achieving the feat in just 45 career games.

She also surpassed WNBA legend Candace Parker for the most games in league history with at least 30 points, five rebounds, and five assists, now holding three such performances compared to Parker’s two.

Clark’s big game sparked Indiana to a season-high 102 points against the defending champs, improving the team’s record to 5-5. She also helped the Fever overcome a slow start that saw them trailing by two points at the end of the first quarter, propelling them to their third win in their last four games.

With Clark back in the fold, Indiana will look to carry this momentum into its next matchup against the 2-7 Connecticut Sun at home on June 17. The Sun rank 12th out of 13 teams in opponent points per game (89.3) and last in defensive rating (115.3), potentially setting up Clark for another monster game.
