With two QBs who have had some consistency issues this season, making the right choice with what WR to start is crucial.
Should fantasy football managers be going with Terry McLaurin or Christian Kirk?
Should you start Terry McLaurin or Christian Kirk for Fantasy Football in Week 11?
In the Pro Football Network Start/Sit Optimizer, PFN’s Consensus Rankings say managers should start McLaurin over Kirk, but just slightly. He is projected to have 13.2 fantasy points on 4.5 receptions and 68 receiving yards. Kirk is projected for 13 fantasy points on 4.5 targets and 58.8 receiving yards.
I agree with the Optimizer and am starting McLaurin over Kirk, but this decision is very close.
Terry McLaurin’s Fantasy Outlook
The Commanders’ WR1 has had an up-and-down 2023 so far, but he has been trending in the right direction as of late. He had a down in Week 10, but in Weeks 7–9, he was WR 18. He is currently WR20 on the season. This week, Washington takes on the Giants at home.

New York has all but thrown in the towel, allowing the 12th-most passing yards to opponents, and QB Sam Howell loves to throw, so I expect McLaurin to get his average 8-10 targets.
I expect the Giants defense to get gassed quickly; their offense will have a tough time putting together drives, leading to the defense being on the field for a long time. Antonio Gibson is also doubtful for Sunday’s game, taking another offensive option out of the lineup.
Christian Kirk’s Fantasy Outlook
The Jacksonville Jaguars got beat up by the Niners last week, and I do expect them to bounce back this week in a divisional matchup, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a huge fantasy day for the pass catchers. QB Trevor Lawrence has been good for actual football but not for fantasy football, and that has led to the WRs not living up to their potential.
Kirk is still WR23 on the season, but the last two weeks have been rough for him. He was WR61 in Week 8 and WR27 in Week 10, with a bye week sandwiched in between.
The Titans do give up the eighth-most fantasy points to WRs, so it is a good matchup, but I trust Lawrence a little less than Howell this week, and that is why I am going with McLaurin in this start/sit. In addition, I could see RB Travis Etienne getting a lot of work in this game.
