Darren Waller Player Props, Betting Lines, Odds, and Picks for Giants vs. 49ers

Let's take a look at the Darren Waller player props tonight for New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers.

After the New York Giants traded for him in the offseason, Darren Waller was expected to be Daniel Jones’ favorite target. Through two weeks, that has certainly been the case, as Waller leads the Giants in targets and receiving yards.

Without Saquon Barkley tonight and going against this San Francisco 49ers defense, what are Waller’s player props looking like? Let’s take a look and give out a best bet.

Waller Betting Trends and Stats

Waller’s eight targets last week were more than he had in seven of eight games last season on the Las Vegas Raiders.

Waller Best Bet

Waller is the Giants’ most talented pass catcher, and there will be even more pressure on him to make big plays as they’ll be without Barkley.

We saw how badly Jones and this offensive line struggled against the Dallas Cowboys’ pass rush at full strength. Now, they’re facing an equally talented defensive line without their best offensive lineman, Andrew Thomas.

With a bad offensive line that will be without its best pass protector, it’s hard to see Jones having much time to throw the ball downfield, especially against a 49ers defense that has only allowed 4.8 yards per attempt through the air so far.

Waller had a big game last week, but that was against the Arizona Cardinals. Not only are they perhaps the worst team in the league, but they have struggled mightily in covering tight ends in recent years.

Jones has to throw the ball to somebody tonight, but I’m not counting on a big Waller performance.

Waller’s Best Bet: Under 18.5 yards longest reception
